So since Nico needs Hamilton to DNF (basically) while he wins, it should be an interesting psychological race, expecting to see a lot of Nico trying to tempt Lewis to take risks that he shouldn't.

The options are:
- Both drivers DNF, Lewis wins
- Both drivers finish 1/2, Lewis wins
- Nico DNF, Lewis finish, Lewis wins
- Lewis DNF, Nico win, Nico wins

So, with the manufacturers title locked away safely, Nico really needs Lewis to DNF (or finish low enough in the order), but in such a way that he doesn't get taken out with Hamilton. Hamilton, as mentioned, could win in the style of Senna and Prost, and just take both AMGs out on lap one, but I personally don't think he will risk it (especially with potential sanctions from the FIA for deliberately causing a crash), when all he needs to do is finish second.

Not suggesting that they'll intentionally ram each other, but expecting something like MotoGP last year, where Lorenzo deliberately didn't pull away and instead tried to tempt Marquez to take too many risks to get in front, in the hope he would make a mistake. Was a very similar situation with points as I recall.

Turn the engine down, be gentle on the gearbox, stay off the kerbs and still probably finish second by 20 seconds.
