Would take any of Geelongs delisted over half our list

These are ultimately proven potatoes who are so bad they can't even get games in the worst side of all time
Rather than thinking of our Casey regulars as 'proven potatoes', think of them as that bag of spuds that have been left festering at the back of the pantry for 2 months, slowly turning into NQR vodka.

Doesn't affect our youth development at all.
They spend most of the week training and learning with us.
Casey isn't perfect but we have had numerous other roadblocks which have affected development as much or more.

Not implying that it's the sole problem, far from it

But Casey are getting smacked each week

Not good for the young fellas, you have to admit that

They're a bit of a disaster

This year maybe but the past 5 years they've won a lot more than they've lost!

The problem with Casey is they're in for it financially - all their guns left because they couldn't pay anymore, now it's basically a VFL 2nd's team and our young guys running around.

What do Melbourne people and some neutrals think of this trade?

Pick 4 and Mitch Clark >> Collingwood
Pick 22 and Lester/Harwood >> Melbourne
Beams >> Brisbane
This was mooted in the Draft and Trading board. Seems like a dream situation for us (Clark for 22 and Lester/Harwood) and probably overs for Clark, but it might take a third party getting involved to get a Clark to Collingwood deal over the line.

If it happened I'd be pretty happy. 4 picks inside the top 25 would be great, especially if we need to use our second rounder on Stretch. You always want a live pick in the twenties in case there are players that slide from the first round (someone like McKenzie, Lamb or Clem Smith this year).

Of course Clark would still be a campaigner but under the circumstances it's probably the best that we can ask for.

I read that as us giving up pick 4 for 20 and some spuds?

Brisbane gives up 4, 22 and one of Lester/Harwood
Collingwood gives up Beams
Melbourne gives up Clark

In short, we come out with what is probably massive overs for Mitch in terms of market value.

Sunday Footy Show saying the Cats are now favourites to land Clark and still think they're decent chances to get Frawley. Be interesting if they get both! Will also mean we're likely to get decent compo for both...

Given Clark is now clearly pawning himself around for the biggest offer - we should be able to trade the prick to wherever we damn well want.

I'm disgusted with the way he's behaving - and that he's going to basically choose which club he goes to.
