Do Saints take a straight swap of Boyd for pick 1?

Is Boyd considered a much better prospect than McCartin?
Saints would jump at that, GWS would be nuts to do it, especially with Patton going down. Boyd seemed to be the clear no.1 last year, McCartin's no clear no.1 this year, think he's only 192/3cm too, Boyds almost 200cm.

Yeah Ok , if you think that see how many offers you will get
Again your on the Melbourne board , we undervalue your players and over value ours , it's the same on your board

Just because Guthrie has played 60 games it means nothing to us , watts has player 100 and Tyson had played about 15

If you guys want a look in at pick 2 you have give us something .. You can't put trash on the table an expect us to take it

Of course I don't think that, I was just using your flawed reasoning as to why you thought Guthrie was worth pick 2 (which is absolutely ridiculous in case you don't realise): comparing his games played to Tyson who had a major knee injury.

He was being sarcastic mate.

I wonder if the Saints would want to risk trading down if we are offered a compensation pick, and traded it to say Brisbane or the Bulldogs.

We could easily take McCartin if Petracca is gone - and if Wright is taken next, the Saints miss their tall.

Totally agree. You can say what you want. If want to say he is worth picks 1 and 2 good luck to you.

Id also agree most club supports struggle with values , their own are always worth more.

I think Guthrie is well ahead of where Tyson was but again , a Geelong supports opinion.

Guthrie is not worth 2 , although I say he is better than Tyson last year , so it just confirms all of us place too much emphasis on potential. To propose that our R16 +Guthrie +.... is the deal? Look your board you can say what you want , if you can get Jacsch and JOK with it good luck to you

I personally think Jack Watts is worth the top 3 picks, but some say I overrate him. I guess only getting picks 1 and 2 for him wouldn't be the worst deal.

I'll give you p2 and Frawley's compo for Guthrie and Motlop. You pay overs for Motlop and we pay overs for Guthrie.

I tend to think you undervalue our players, actually. Jack Watts has more raw potential in his pinky than Gary Ablett has in his entire family tree. I'd be looking for a package deal where every club trades us their first round pick in exchange for Watts. That way we get fair value for one of the most underrated talents in the game and the other clubs get to focus on developing the talent in the small portion of Watts NickGrant sends them via non-returnable and untraceable postal drop.

Or we could start some kind of pyramid scheme where Jack is traded from club to club so that everyone gets to enjoy his prowess, and we are constantly rewarded for bestowing our grace upon the competition by allowing it.

Ill start by sending his heart, but be careful cuz its fragile and there isn't much of it

No but seriously we should send him to Essendon first and introduce him essendons club doctor, who can give him a pep talk
