So we are using a top 3 finish in the "Best and Fairest" in a 2 win season as something of significance?

Tapscott and Strauss have battle injuries and Tappy would still be in the team had he not got injured.

Blease should have been given more of a go.

The difference between those 3 and Terlich is they all offer something we sorely lack.

Tappy - Big bodied HFF/Midfielder with aggression, a good pair of hands and a booming kick.
Strauss - Very good kick of the football, improving defensively.
Blease - Very good speed and can kick goals.

What does Terlich have that stands out? 40m sideways shanks out on the full?
Yeah, that's what they said about them in their draft years. At least Terlich gets involved in the game. He is nowhere near as bad as you think.

Negatively impacting games isn't good for us though.

Hearing rumblings about a certain full forward who wore 11 again...

The first is a fair point.

As for the last... there was a reason Terlich came back into the team, had 25 odd touches, and was dropped immediately.

Yeah but all 3 of those guys would kill to get that amount of footy just once in there AFL career
He butchers it for sure but he is lucky that his competition is the outstanding junior talents of Blease, Strauss and Tappy

Luke Ball...? Should we be keen if Collingwood don't offer him a contract (or only offer him 20c and a packet of twisties to play on)?

Take that rich clubs, go ahead and try to poach Rohan Bail now
Eddie McGuire is presently curled up in the fetal position in the corner of the Westpac Centre, weeping uncontrollably. The Pies slide down the ladder is inevitable now, without the prospect of Rohan being there to drag them out of the mire.

Watch him return only to play for another club. Just another dagger in our hearts probably. :(
I'd be disappointed if he went to any other club other than at his home state. That would ease the pain somewhat. But I feel he has played his last game with us regardless.

If he did come back to the club, how do we go about that? Do we use a pre season draft pick? Saints potentially could poach him before our pick. It would solve a few headaches, in that if we do miraculously have pick 2 and 3 in the draft, it opens up the possibility of picking both Petracca and Brayshaw knowing Clark will be back in the F50. Wright could still be an option, but I feel I'd be more inclined to go top 2 mids if Clark is back. If not, then I'd consider Petracca and Wright. Lots of scenarios, but It would only be a great thing. But I'm still doubtful on Clark returning to us. How is his foot? Does anyone know if he's even capable of getting through a pre season? Sounded like it was hell to get back on the park earlier in the year...

You joke, but the Pies are in a delightful downward spiral. The injury crisis they're going through has provided a fair old smokescreen for the fact that Buckley has being quietly going about the business of turning Collingwood into a bottom 4 team again. Hopefully we can wave at them as they hurtle past us on our slow climb up the ladder.
