Come on Guys. This is our toughest Finals series in years. We need to make the effort to get the G in Blue and White and support our boys LOUDLY - lets drown out the Hawks on their home deck and hopefully cheer our team on for a win.

I remember in 09, Costa put a letter in the addy compelling all Geelong people to go. I wasn't going to go to the QF that year, but reading that letter really encouraged me to go. I hope Carter does something similar this week.

Just a question, I've got the option of grabbing tickets tomorrow through club membership, or waiting until Tuesday and getting them through AFL membership. AFL membership will work out a lot cheaper but I'm just wondering if it's too risky having to wait til Tuesday and the AFL members selling out quickly and risk not getting a seat at all? Or should I exercise the club membership option and guarantee a ticket early even though it will be more expensive? Can't really decide

If you are online and ready when AFL members area goes on sale (9am i'd think) you won't have any issues. There is also no way the general members and public area will sell out prior to Thursday and most likely won't sell out at all with walk up available on the night.

How long do you think tickets will last? thinking about coming over from Perth if we can get tickets

As I said above it's unlikely to sell out or threaten it. Got 73,000 last time we played them in a qualifying final and Friday night games aren't convenient for families/people coming from Geelong and Western Victoria.

Stuck in auto refresh loop on Ticketek site, after logging on there 45 mins ago. Hint to large ticketing companies: scale your hosting to the events you sell tickets for, FFS.

Use your phone and get the ticketek app. So much quicker than the website. Found that out last year.

Found ticketek to be quite good this time, had 2 broswers open and swapped and changed tickets in M3 a few times. Keep trying!

It is ****ing ****ed I logged in what I thought was 8.59am, what did they start selling them before 9am then??? I cant get in on firefox, cant get in on Explorer.

I just tried again with our memberships- says the barcodes allocation is exhausted, the site wont allow me to get more tickets with these barcodes. Tell me I have those tickets.

Anyone know if you get a ticket on a concession membership, if they check you for a concession card at entry? Using my old man's concession membership for a friend.

Do this at your own risk- I got stopped at a final, spun a story how i forgot the card and he let me in anyway.

An update on my story- crisis averted. Went back into my account at ticketek and regenerated the tickets. Jesus christ they gave me a heart attack there. Am M3, Row T. Woohoo.

Actually, Ticketek is just execrable for choosing seats in general. On desktop now, want Southern seats close to the wing, will only offer me behind the goals. No way to actually get the tickets I want except for spending an hour on the phone. Sad face.

MCC visitor tickets go on sale at midday for anyone that has missed out. two visitors allowed per member and prices seem to be pretty similar.
