This ladder really doesn't tell the full story of the league, as the American conference teams have not all played the same number of games as everyone else. Just as an example, my Aviators may be sitting 5th but they also have 2 games in hand over those above, so if they were to win both they would be in outright second 2pts behind the Romans.

I'm guessing this will be rectified before the end of the season and everyone will have played the same number of games.
Overall standings don't matter. At the end of the season you will have played the same amount of games as everyone in your conference.

Ok well bacon may want to drop the IFA minor premiership from the table then.

Finishing on the top postion in your conference means you win the conference, but are not conference champions (The team that advances to stage 3 of IFA finals)

The idea that one conference is playing one or two less games than the other conferences is ridiculous. It needs to be fixed.

Yeah that did occur to me when I saw the ladder. I'll have to see how many byes each team had then schedule a repechage round around that data so the American teams can play their 20 games. You will have a shot at the minor premiership, don't worry about that.

How can it be fixed? And it doesn't matter anyway...

It can be fixed by running an extra round involving only the American teams, and yes it does matter because the competition will look silly with one conference only playing 18-19 games compared to 20 for the rest.

The schedule for the remainder of the 2014 IFA season has been announced. Bacon Warrior thank you so much for running the Home and Away season, and the comp would still be in about Round 7 without you.

Would it not make more sense to have the Round 21 and 22 teams different? Otherwise it the exact same teams playing each other without any variety

Thought of that and decided to go for matchups that I think could be very close games. We've had return fixture rounds before and there wasn't any complaints.

Mallorca will be looking to go through the regular season undefeated to claim the Minor Premiership.

Oh the Minor Premiership is still up for grabs, Cleveland with their two games in hand are 8 points behind (due to Mallorcas 2 draws) with a points differential sitting just 22 less than Mallorca. So IF Cleveland win their remaining 3 games and win by a combined score of 23 points (or how ever many the difference is after the current round if Mallorca win by more than Cleveland) then Cleveland will end top on points differential.
