Please tell us what they did wrong in this instance. Was it that they were unable to predict the future, and if so, will you fork up the cash necessary to employ a full-time fortune teller?

But it just so happens that i know a guy with a sixth sense if your interested ??

Change the thread title to 2015, as that's the season the injuries are related to....

Not sure if this link had been posted yet, but his mgr confirming that injury is more a 'hot spot' attained as a result of pressure from old ankle injury, and only likely to need 4-6 weeks off it.

Suggested (as many had predicted) that we'll throw him in the gym for the next month or so to give the foot time to settle. Potentially back to running/normal training early January.

Great news.

The Carlton Football Club has received an update on new recruit Kristian Jaksch, who suffered discomfort during training last week.

Specialists have confirmed that Jaksch has suffered a mild reaction to the navicular bone in his left foot.

His training load will be restricted for the next fortnight, then he will build up his training ahead of Christmas.

Jaksch is expected to resume full training by January.

That's the best news we could've got given the nature of the injury. Just don't rush him.

What is the latest on Giles? I thought you guy's got a beauty there, so was sad to hear about his foot.
Still in a moon boot, had another round of surgery just recently though I'm not sure of how major it was.

Probably won't see him play for the majority of the year and I think it's fair to say he probably won't debut for the Blues in 2015.

Has or had?

Unless the news is fresh, I think Walker may have had his op already.
Heavily bandaged on Wednesday and just took things easy.

Interesting hearing Trigg state that all good with Jaksch but for him to be somewhat behind where he should be. (not is so many words but that was the inference)
No way Jaksch will be starting early next year.

Bonus for Blues as recruit Kristian Jaksch recovers from foot injury

But the promising 20-year-old has since resumed running and should be cleared for full-contact training after the Christmas break.

"Kristian is out of the moon boot and is back training, while continuing to be monitored," Blues football manager Andrew McKay told AFL.com.au.

"We expect him to resume full-contact training in the new year."
