They've moved lions reserves v swans reserves to the Gabba to be played after your Geelong game

They mooted this at the AGM. Gives the players some exposure to their "home" ground, but gee curtain raisers would be preferable from a spectator perspective. Perfect lead-in.
 
Finally a NEAFL game at the 'Gabba but the times are mixed up.

The seniors game should've been at 3.40pm and the curtain raiser should have been at midday.

You can always kick over it
There will be a very frantic groundskeeper in the middle in soft slippers picking up the ball and scowling at whoever had the temerity to kick on to his pitch.
 
Also means the food/drink vendors are likely to close and certainly the shuttle buses won't be running afterwards either.
They will most likely keep some open, at the shield games they have one food/drink vendor open

Also when the Roar did the double header (in Jan) they had shuttle buses running from midday instead of the usual 2 hours before a game, so they probably will use common sense and have a shuttle bus after the ressies game
