Once again, a summary of all our incomings, outgoings, and other list and football department changes, sadly once again able to be posted before the finals begin.

As ever, there are and will be respective threads to discuss who we want in trade, FA and at each draft selection. Use those and participate! Don't be afraid to tell Vader no you're a pecking order, suggest Drugs Are Bad Mackay? is not taking the advice of his own nickname, query Elite Crow over whether he can even spell football, be like Elder van Berlo and helpfully correct my draft order every few minutes after I just finished typing all the numbers out again, and just generally ask Sanders for advice on anything that's troubling you

Gold Coast will eventually get the pick after Geelong's first rounder. No need for an extra space in there though because Essendon have no first round pick.

Essendon pick 19
GWS 20
Both end of first round compo picks.

One less space for finalists in the second round, as Essendon have no pick.

And Gold Coast have the pick after Collingwood's third rounder.

See you put a lot of effort into starting this thread. Top effort :thumbsu:

So tell me, was your relationship with your mother a happy one? Was she distant or did you not receive enough physical reassurance and comfort. How has this affected you in later life, are there patterns you feel you are destined to repeat

What would you like to say her if you could?

I like this thread.

I'm right on top of it myself, but it's nice to confirm the same thing.

Can someone clarify something for me? All the articles about Suns delisting have said "down to 38, in line with other AFL clubs", yet 13 clubs had 40 main-listed players last year (inc GC). Is the 38 something all clubs have to drop to, or is the writer making an error regarding list space? I'm assuming the latter. (or veterans somehow)

I'm honored and affended

I assume that was on purpose.

Lots of stories that there will be a number of f/s & academy kids being bid on this year (only Freeman was academy last year, I think). Heeney is the big one I think.

Which clubs don't have 40? And how many do they have?

Plenty of good debates for you two without getting into semantics.

It's a fine distinction but an important one I reckon. It's not like they've got to 38 on their list and said "oh s**t we've run out of cap space" and didn't get anyone else.

They have a deliberate strategy to pay more to their better players and sacrifice 2 spots on their list to do it.

That's about 5% of a list that they're not paying. It's crude maths/logic but add that to the COLA and they effectively get a bonus 15% to spend on players. Is it any wonder they're so strong.

I'd like to see us do the same.
