Sorry for the delay everybody, a few I expected to be available weren't, and a few I weren't expecting were!

In the end I went with the high risk/high reward option in Lever. Worst case is that Lever continues to suffer with his knee and develops into a injury-prone dour key back - which is worthless in this format.

Best case is that he continues where he left off as a backline leader and play-maker off half back, worthy of of a top 2-3 draft selection. Every option at Pick 31 will have a question mark or two, but Lever had a stellar 2013 before he missed all of last year, captaining Victoria Metro as an under-ager (has anybody else done that?!) and averaging 18 possessions and 6 marks in the TAC cup that year.

Rockford you are up next.

My thoughts on Lever exactly, was on my lists at 33, he could be a KPP back or that exciting playmaking general, will be really interesting.

Sam Durdin it is. Thanks for not complaining about me taking some time to think about it.
Draft is rolling along nicely now IMO :)
Very good pick Rockford! He was first on my list for my coming pick! Pretty sure I know who L_W_P is going to pick considering who he supports and follows.

Daysy_12 is up..

Went Stretch. Still three players I really like on the table, and i am sure to get one of them at #40, so pretty happy

Stretch is a great pickup. An outside running, heavy accumulator. Should complement the inside types that Melbourne have been collecting on their list. I thought he'd go in the 20s.

I hope so, I used to love watching his dad play. It seems he has inherited some of his fathers athletic profile. I have a few outside runners now, I just hope they all can develop into heavy accumulators at AFL level! Even though Stretch is pretty slight, he played a fair bit of senior SANFL footy last year and finished the season strongly, which is always encouraging with a young player I reckon.

An interesting *fun fact* with my other two selections, Lever and Dawson is that they both excelled in their underage year of the U18 National Championships in 2013, and both missing most, if not all of the 2014 Nationals. Lever was captain of Vic Metro, while Dawson won the Harrison Medal as the best Div 2 player.

That is my squad complete. Good luck for the coaches still going in the draft, especially those coaches yet to even start!

I love how the comments on here mirror that of the recruiters post-draft (I can't believe player x was still available at our pick)!

Yer i had someone else that i have had my eye on all year that i was planning on taking. Cavka looks to be ahead of said player right now though

Just needing time on this last one. Will we have access to pick up free agents between now and the nab cup? Bit torn on this decision and knowing we do would help.
