Positives:
1. Bont and Menz: Bontempelli and Menzel look set for big seasons, both will be shining lights for their clubs.
2. Player Off Season Movement: Lumumba and Christenson moving has been a big positive. They look to be integral parts of their respective clubs.
3. Diamonds in the Rough: Off the FA, McStay and Byrne had good NAB Challenges and look like they could play a lot of games this season.

Negatives:
1. Rucks: My ruck depth has been shattered. Charlie Dixon and Majak Daw have lost their R eligibility, i'm now left with Ben McEvoy as my only likely starter and Shaun Hampson who is by no means a lock to play week in week out for the Tiges copped a knock in a praccy match.
2. Injuries: Lost a few big names including Pearce Hanley, Andrew Walker and Jack Trengove pre NAB Challenge.
3. McBean: 4th/5th tall forward in line at the Tiges, didn't get much of a run in the NAB Challenge but at 20 years of age he has time on his side.

So does J_T get his waisted FA pick reinstated? Sure he is a bit of a goose for making that mistake, but I can see how he made it, and he did rectify it instantly. Wasn't due to a change in mind.

Also don't want to judge a man to early but have always thought he had the Essendon 2012 ripped look about him, anyone else?

Trade Table:

I have 3 forwards on the trade table for:
a) a developing 'inside' midfielder, and/or
b) a key-position/ third-tall type forward prospect

The 3 forwards on offer are:
- Jordan Murdoch
- Charlie Cameron
- Taylor Garner

Let me know if you have any interest. I am happy to trade 2 for 1 or even 3 for 1 if the deal suits.

Trade Alert:

Rockford receives:
Elliot Yeo, Adam Saad, Taylor Garner

Warriors receives: Paul Seedsman, Aaron Mullett, Karl Amon

Pretty hard to pull the trigger on this trade, especially as both Saad and Garner are still quite unknown as to what they can produce. Yeo has been the player that other coaches wanted to trade for the most from my list, so seems to be universally well rated.

Seedsman should be a lock for my side down back, while Mullett will be an important player if he can recapture his 2013 form, so the trade is worth the risk from my perspective. I also like the look of Amon, and considered taking him with Pick 39 in the Pre-Season draft.

I would say Rockford to confirm, but it has already gone through!

Yeah, hope I haven't ****ed up my chances going forward. For me, it was about the stats. Seedsman I rate highly, he's got a very stat friendly game. If I'm lucky Yeo or Saad will come on and end up best 22, just really need one of them to fire I think for it to work out for me.

currently I have 5 players on the table:

Cunnington
O'Rourke
Murdoch
Cameron
Kennedy

Primarily looking for a quality young forward, as well as developing forwards and a developing mid.

If somebody has a quality back for trade, I would also consider :)
