Wowee, fantastic weekend! Miller's weekend was certainly eventful - rightfully cracking the sads with his competitors in qualifying and finishing a disappointing 8th to winning a race he really shouldn't have given how the Hondas were smoking him down the straight. It's a shame Fenati, Binder and Kent went down on the last lap, could've been a chance to get between Miller and Marquez to close the championship gap a bit more. Props to Remy Gardner too, rode hard and finished on the lead lap. Was a good chance for points if not for his warmup lap problem.

Dunno what happened to Westy, must've run off the track because he dropped to near last after pushing towards strong points earlier in the race. Rabat is getting closer to the Moto2 title and Vinales is looking a bit Marquez-like. He's going to be good for Suzuki next year I think.

Fair to say MotoGP was dramatic! We were just mentioning at the track how Marquez already had it in the bag and then...
9 years in between Phillip Island wins for Rossi, a fantastic ride. Shame Lorenzo's tire tore up, it could have been an epic battle to the finish given their fighting in the middle laps.
A terrible shame to see Crutchlow and Pol Espargaro crash out, disappointing for Pedrosa and Aleix Espargaro to have to retire not of their own doing.
Hector Barbera possibly had the ride of the race to finish 5th.

He rides on the edge. It's what's contributed to him being world champ in the two years he's been in Motogp.

Funnily enough, had he kept riding on edge he probably wouldn't have crashed! Slowing down caused the tire to cool = lost grip = crash!

Klyntonius who looks like been dumped in MotoGP at the end of the year ?

Dumped in or out? :D
Suzuki and Aprilia are in as are Maverick Vinales (Suzuki) Jack Miller (LCR), Loris Baz (Forward Yamaha) and Eugene Laverty (Aspar).
Out are Mike DiMeglio and Hiroshi Aoyama as well as the entire PBM team who are packing up and heading back to the British Superbikes.

So I was wrong, di Meglio (somehow) has kept his ride for next year. The official entry list for MotoGP so far.

Curiously, after Spain, the best represented nation in Moto2 is Switzerland.

Miller on pole for the Moto 3 race

Iannone is out of the Moto GP race after Marquez crashed into him on friday and injured his arm and Pol Espargro is doubtful with a fractured ankle after a crash in practice today.

Marquez up to his old tricks?
Dunno why Espargaro crashed but Redding was pointing to something on his bike earlier.

Hopefully Miller can beat Marquez again and this time have some friends finish in between!
