Watched til lap 88
Hoping SOMETHING actually happens when i watch the rest after.

It does, someone whose won the championship takes out a few

What did Dale Jr say to Mikey Waltrip after Mikey left Ambrose ?
It sound something like "I want to speak to Marcos about the fight" :D

I did like Waltrips line to Ambrose "Just been a quiet week for you"

I guess we could a new champion that we won't expect but other than that, I doesn't give justice to the most consistent all-round through out the season, the person who should be champion.

The funny thing is. The points allocation that Nascar have is designed to reward consistency! They're just idiots.

All star weekend this week. 19 drivers are automatically entered into the race (McMurray, Keselowski, Harvick, Kahne, Hamlin, Stewart, Biffle, Kyle Busch, Kenseth, Logano, Gordon, Newman, Ragan, Kurt Busch [who's also doing Indy 500 qualifying this weekend], Johnson, Vickers, M.Truex, Earnhardt, Edwards) and 23 in the Sprint Showdown (51 team isn't entering, Blake Koch drives the 32, David Stremme in the 33). Top 2 drivers from showdown and fan vote winner (more than likely to be Danica) race in the all star race.

In the showdown, there are 2 sections of 20 laps each, optional pit stop between segments. Last 20 laps DO NOT count yellow flag laps.

For the All Star race, the first 3 of 5 sections are 20 laps with an optional pit stop. Section 4 (20 laps) will be followed by a re-ordering of the field based on average finish position of first 4 segments and then a COMPULSORY 4 TYRE stop. The final 10 lap segment DOES NOT count Yellow flag laps, G-W-C finish will only happen if yellow comes out with 2 laps to go.

I agree, it's absolutely ridiculous.
I really like the chase format as it has been in recent years.
To have the championship decided on one race when its has always previously been based on consistency is just ludicrous.

Yeah have to agree with this, seems completely stupid. Needs to go back to a 12-driver chase with the top 12 drivers on points qualifying with no wildcards.
