We played a 4-3 last season but it is rumored we may be going back to 3-4 which will suit Lawrence as he will play off the edge.

Im unsure if 3-4 would suit him to be honest.
He's a proven 4-3 DE with high athleticism. Sure, that athleticism says he can make it as a 3-4 OLB, but he's still unproven.
He'd probably be better in pass defence, but I don't have much confidence as a rush defender out of the 3-4. At least not initially.

Though, I could see him getting 10-15 sacks a season by his SOphmore year at 3-4. So he'd be serviceable until he turns the corner and becomes an all round OLB.

Fair call and it will be interesting to see if we stick with the 4-3 this season again. We probably will as i cannot see us getting rid of it after 1 year when injuries also killed us.
