Timmy Jernigan's failed drug test may be biting....

I could see Allen Robinson being the guy for Seattle

I don't think a receiver is necessary TBH. At least not early. Our offence is based on run, plus we have Percy Harvin, Rice, Kearse, Baldwin and Lockette and I would prefer to give these guys experience. If he is still there at the end of the 2nd or our first pick in the 4th then I'd be happy to go for him. Our O-line is where we need to strengthen most IMO.

That isn't a very good group at all

Bitonio could and should be the pick as he provides versatility, but Robinson is a reliable possession receiver who would help the offense.

I think Baldwin is pretty underrated.

Still need an obvious number 1 outside though.

He was the reason I didn't call them scrubs.

A reliable possession receiver can only be a good thing

Bunch of pedestrians who walked their asses to the Superbowl.
Yeah that's right. Off the back of that group of guys, they're even stronger now that Tate is gone. Don't need to address that group at all

In fact the rest on the teams should just forfeit now

On the other hand, I *will* call the interior line of the Seahawks scrubs, and that why I think they are going for a guard with their pick.

Not yet anyway. As Dagless said, Baldwin is pretty underrated. Kearse really came on a lot in the back half of last season and the playoffs. Lockette can be upgraded on but he is young and doesn't get much of a go. I think our receiving group are good enough for the job that is required. I'd agree if our offence was heavily reliant on passing but the truth is it isn't. Percy is a very good player if he can stay fit. Rice is okay but it depends how he comes back from his injury. Baldwin is very underrated by non Seahawks supporters and Kearse has come on leaps and bounds. I'm happy enough with what I'd call a solid group of receivers. Our O-line is where we have had a lot of problems and we need a replacement for Giacomini.

Got to admit, a forfeit was pretty close to what Denver delivered in the Superbowl.

But Harvin/Baldwin/Kearse is good enough. Carpenter, Sweezy and oh god I dont want to look isnt.

Rapt with our 1st Rd selection and about time JJ listens to his college scouts and did not get a head rush and select Manziel which would of had me irate. Honestly i like all the 1st rd picks from all teams and everyone did well.

Our OL is looking very strong now which helps Romo and Murray heaps. In a deep defensive draft like this is i am rapt we took one the highest OL rated as they get thin from here on in.

Now for the defense in the next rounds!!

San Fran/Rams/Cards, not so much.

Yep, and have you seen any of those front sevens ? No freaking way I want to take Seattle's existing interior line against them.

Nope, on a power rushing team that relies on Beast Mode and has a side order of Russel Wilson play action, I'll live with our existing receivers.

Yeah I have, none of them have particularly good secondary either.

Russ Wilson is no game manager give him some weapons and bring another dimension to the offense.

Or try to beat those front sevens on the ground

Thank you, but Id prefer Seattle stick with their current, working, game plan, which is to say a heavy diet of Beast Mode, interrupted with a little play-action.

A second, important, reason is that this is a game plan that I can see our backups - who are currently a QB cut from Minnesota and a QB Oakland moved on from - winning with.

If Sui'filo or whatever his name is is still there at 40 then thats where the Hawks will go I think

Who said change the gameplan?

Russ is the best proponent of the read option. Having a mid level guy would not only help him but would also make the back ups better if somehting happened to Wilson

I think Sua'Filo would be a home run for the hawks, but to say that their WRs are fine is overstating it a fair bit.

I rate Robinson and think they would be looking at him for sure. Played pro style offense and is a good route runner

Also surprised to see Marquise Lee still on the board and he will be a steal at WR in the 2nd rd and surely the Jags take him at #39 to give Bortles a bonafide weapon.
