Sanderson is a poor coach. Adelaide aren't going anywhere though, regardless of his sacking. They're an irrelevant club.

They've been mediocre for 16 years.Crikey, now that is what you call ruthless. And with 2 years left on his contract too!
Got to hand it to Radelaide and the new CEO, they're not going to accept mediocrity at least.
Meanwhile.... #wceinspire
Haha. They've been mediocre for 16 years.

I'm interested. We've had a hit and a miss from the Demons over the last couple of years (Hit: Bennell / Miss: Morton), and Blease was reportedly highly regarded by WC in the 2008 draft (equal to Shuey was my understanding), so I'd back in our development staff to give him a lifeline. What do people think about Sam Blease? Yay or Nah.
I'd like to see us go for a proven midfielder in his mid 20's but I'd have him for a round 4.

Lol'd. They've got a great sense of humour.

Has pace to burn and likes a goal.
Great pace, can break the lines very well. Poor kick, questionable decision making and lack two way running.
My opinion of the development staff is that they stink , no rising star nominees for so long now back in rd19 2011 Andrew Gaff .
Is that a result of who we have drafted or how they are developed? I'd argue that several of the younger guys looked better this year (Gaff, Sheppard, Cripps, Lycett, McGovern)...My opinion of the development staff is that they stink , no rising star nominees for so long now back in rd19 2011 Andrew Gaff .
No, we were the best team in both home and away and finals in 06 despite the 1 pt marginI like to think that we nicked off with their 2006 flag. My Crows supporting mates agree with me on that.
Regardless, they should never have let that prelim slip. I still give my mates shit over it.No, we were the best team in both home and away and finals in 06 despite the 1 pt margin
Swans nicked away with the 05 flag
There's bold moves, and there's plain stupidity. Sacking Simpson after one season would fall under the latterIn light of Adelaidde's bold move to replace Sanderson, it begs the question: should we consider doing the same with Simpson?
Our season was a MASSIVE disappointment, even moreso than the crows. Simpson has looked all at sea at times this season and it is highly doubtful that he is the man to take us to our next flag.
The crows seem poised to swoop on Goodwin, one of their own who is loved, admired and respected at the club. Seemingly, we will have a similar opportunity presented to us with Bluey McKenna possibly departing the Suns.
If the opportunity presents itself, will our club be bold enough to do what Adelaide has done and cut our losses with a suspect coach who is still seen as outsider and has failed to deliver the expected results?
Perhaps not as much as hiring him in the first place?Regardless, they should never have let that prelim slip. I still give my mates shit over it.

Did Simmo shag your sister or something? No idea why you dislike him so much. Not many thought we would make finals this year anyway.Perhaps not as much as hiring him in the first place?
Based on our failure to secure a finals birth this year, at least...

Rising Star, like all other voted awards, is dominated by midfielders. It's no surprise that the last nominee we had was Gaff.Is that a result of who we have drafted or how they are developed? We haven't had that many highly rated juniors since Gaff due to the expansion clubs dilution of the draft pool so it was always going to be hit and miss for a couple of years imo.
