Just a quick thought, If we could pick any player from any club right now...Who would you pick. Dont worry about money or salary cap issues. Who is the one player that could make a difference if he were to come to the Eagles.

Cant believe Hird even has the prospect of getting hs job back. No way would any other coach have that luxury if in the same scenario.

Buddy going to the Swans was just stupid. You can only have so many talls in one team with egos and they had a reasonable balance before they got Tippett. Team is out of whack now and i think they may suffer from it unless Horse can pull them all into line quickly.

If he was a shade younger, Ablett otherwise I would go someone like Penldebury personally.

There are a good side, just cant finish games. Another year putting on size and experience in the younger players against a dismal bombers outfit.....North will win.(they better now that I have written this hahahaha)

Can't watch the game, but it seems that the scores flatter North right now given how much the Bombers are dominating the stats.

Essendon do look good but the defensive pressure from north is about as resistant as Paris Hilton in front of a video camera
