Yeah, those of us over east can look forward t 100k coming back over when things slow a bit in WA.

good riddance. talk about whinging poms, they are nothing compared to whinging victorians. "boohoo, noone here can see that melbourne is better" "boohoo noone gives a crap about my shitty team" "boohoo i am from east coast, i am superior"

problem is they dont go back.

Fyfe bumped causing injury to the head and Dawson tripped LOL to the tripping one since Wellingham got away with that last week.

With Fyfe out i think it evens out Hodge not being able to play this Friday.

Yep they would be spewing, need Fyfe for the Hawks, hope they get done big time.

May mean if he challenges and fails.

This is incorrect. Risks nothing in terms of current suspension going to the tribunal except carry over points which could hurt him if he gets charged again.

Yeah true , but maybe they were referring to how challenging means the guilty plea deduction points are lost which in some cases could translate to an extra game? I'm sure the article would he said so if this was the case ....

Nathan Fyfe, Fremantle, has been charged with a Level Two Engaging in Rough Conduct Offence (225 demerit points, two-match sanction), for engaging in rough conduct against Michael Rischitelli, Gold Coast, during the third quarter of the Round Two match between Fremantle and Gold Coast, at Patersons Stadium on Saturday March 29, 2014.

In summary, due to his previous poor record, his two-match sanction must remain at two matches, even with an early plea.

Based on the video evidence available and medical report from the Gold Coast SUNS Football Club, the incident was assessed as negligent conduct (one point), medium impact (two points) and high contact (two points). This is a total of five activation points, resulting in a classification of a Level Two Offence, drawing 225 demerit points and a two-match sanction. He has a bad record of 50 demerit points carried over within the last 12 months, increasing the penalty to 275 points and a two-match sanction. An early plea reduces the sanction by 25 per cent to 206.25 points and a two-match sanction.

Most it can be is 2 weeks with 75 carryover points if a challenge fails

I had Fyfe @ 5 and Barlow @ 6 in my top 50 rankings from the first two weeks.
Massive outs and could see Freo drop games in the next couple of weeks against opposition that they would consider premiership threats.

Surely with those outs the Hawks must be favs. However if the Dockers win without them then they are going to be scary this year. :(

Shit! I knew those odds of $2.35 for Freo to beat Hawks looked too good to be true with Mitchell and Hodge in doubt. Kiss that $100 goodbye. :(
