Destiny is still in their hands. All they have to do is beat those in front of them. But yeah some worrying signs tonight for sure. They were missing a handful of quality players though.

St Kilda were missing players as well, not to mention they lost a player early in the first quarter.

In any case they lost to the bottom of the table side, they had the majority of their best 22 out there and have no excuses losing today.

Ultimately the hope is their presence in Sydney will undermine the Swans. eg. Gaining more of the local media attention, an alternative for mercenary players from other clubs. If so, that's a good thing. The ****ing Pink Ducks have had things too cushy for far too long.

Crazy to think this game for Port is crucial to their top 8 hopes. Even with a win today I had them 8th on my ladder predictor. They have a pretty tough run home and in their current form I can't see them beating the Suns and Pies away etc
