Hmm, perhaps you've never heard him give his pre-game analysis for teams on ABC Radio.
Very simple with statements like "no doubt about it" prevalent (most of the time when he says that I know I'm going to disagree with him).
Why this insist with putting Gerard Whateley with buffoons is beyond me.

Because Whateley can make anyone look good. Best sports journo in the country by a long stretch (and only Emma Quayle gets that close), and the same with commentating (fan of Anthony Hudson personally, but he does polarise listeners).

Too bad Fox don't utilise his game day commentary.
I believe it's because he's contracted to ABC and he keeps it that way because he loves commentating the horse racing.

Hawks definitely looked a significantly lesser team without Mitchell and Hodge (and Sewell too I suppose). They'll want to get those guys back before the season gets serious if they want to go back-to-back.
