Someone told me today that they heard on the radio that O'Meara was prepared to come to West Coast if they gave him a five year contract and West Coast refused. Please tell me this is bullshit. Surely our club is not that incompetent?!
He would make our club competitive for many years to come, I can not, (don't want to) believe we would not have moved hell and high water to get him home.

We gave Lecca a 4 year deal, we'd be happy giving JOM 6+.
We probably refused due to the mammoth trade that would need to be done (undoubtedly involving NN or Darling), not on the length and price of JOM's contract.
