I know I said it last year, but heck me I've had enough of this purple everything on TV, little channel 7 go freo things, nothing stories about bloody butchers with purple sausages, WTF is going on in Perth!!!

Now I can't remember the 91 or 92 finals campaigns from us, but the one I can remember, 94, 05 & 06 and I can't remember this much hype for us. Was it because it was normal for us to play finals?? I mean their going ape (sorry goodes) and all they've done is lost a final!!

In 2011 when we made the pre lim, I don't remember the Sunday times turning its text in blue and gold and having bloody cut out faces of any of our players.

It just seems like the whole of Perth have gone insane and everyone is now a freo supporter!! God I hope port knock em out this week!!!

and just for Mike85, in 2006 Freo made the Prelim so both teams were in it so probably more balanced colours at the time.

Yeah true, just seems like recently when it's been just freo in the finals it's gone way over the top compared to when it's just us in the finals. I guess deep down I'm just jealous

Freo are actually getting more support this year then they even did last year.

Which is surprising, given the fact last year was their 'maiden finals appearance'. It's also more obvious to me that they will be knocked out too. With all the injuries they have and lack of a forward line, i'll be surprised if they even make it to a preliminary final.

Last year was their chance IMO. Next year with Pav and Mcpharlin on the outer, they'll start sliding.

Cousins was the best gut runner I've ever seen, while Dusty is usually spent 5 minutes into the first quarter.
