Yeah I'm not gonna bother watching if it's Hawthorn vs Sydney. Nothing about that matchup interests me.

What isn't interesting about the two best teams in the comp (by some way) playing off for the big one?

Not to mention Buddy vs. old teammates.

Almost countless aspects of that match-up make it interesting.

Good on Paddy Ryder for standing up and asking to be traded ,I wonder how many more will follow now .

And Sydney will get Heeney and Dunkley coming in 2014/2015 drafts.

It takes the pressure of the midfield to score heavily at times and gives them the ability to slow the game down through contested marking power. Makes their midfield more potent on top of the more obvious improvement to scoring power up the pointy end.

Sydney will also get Callum Mills from their academy next year he will be a gun 185 cm midfielder .He made the AA team this year from Div 2 as a under-Ager .

Mitchell may be scratching around for a game next year with the addition of Heeney ,the improvement of Cunningham ,Rohan ,Lloyd ,BJack and Johnson .
Sydney will be up the ladder for many years ,
So hopefully all Wce F/S picks that are due to start coming through are good so they can be like a Wce academy free picks .

It will all come to a head next year when dunkley or mills goes for a second rounder ( pick 40ish ) but the damage is done ! We can only hope for reprieve when they need KKP again .

I know nothing except Paddy is 2 yrs into a 4 year contract and the suggestions that the club is trying to persuade him to stay at this stage .To break his contact he will need to use the Asada issue .

I wonder if Parker will stay at swans next year for unders . Next year he may already have 2 premierships at 22 years and will be getting massive offers from Victorian teams to come home .
Even if teams can't lure Sydney players we need to drive up their value to stretch their cap !
