Agree, but still dodgy, I'd say he was very unlikely to play the whole time, especially with Ross Lyin' as the assistant coach of the IR team. Would have all been a ploy to try and sell some tickets, especially for us WA folks, then just get him to fall over, oh no dodgy shoulder, me no play, easy done.

Agreed, I would have liked to see Nic and Nat playing together, it was one of the reasons I bought the tickets.

Not many people can commit pre-meditated assault and then come out of jail to one of the best jobs going. The penny may have dropped as far as applying himself to football goes, but that doesn't make him a good guy just yet.

Yeah Muzza punched out a bloke who f**ked his girlfriend, bit different to Garlett who has just made stupid decision after stupid decision. I remember seeing that pic of him in the paper with a drink and a durrie in his hand, just before the draft, and everyone was going crazy over it. I thought at the time, so what he likes to have a drink, I had no idea he was this much of a selfish little campaigner, glad we stayed well away for him.

He's a professional athlete, so I'll be erring on the side of caution until he shows he's not a complete campaigner. Being extremely physically gifted and not being a complete dickhead is a relatively rare commodity.

Garlett is something else again though.

A fair bit of hatred over on the purple board towards Nic's IR game I mean I know he did next to nothing, but when there are only a handful or ruck contests in the entire game, not sure what else he could do, and the fact he played pretty limited game time didn't help. I for one am glad he didn't get injured, and couldn't care less how many stats he got.

Most on the main board were saying he played a bad game as well. And lets be honest, he did. Not a game for rucks though, with only six or so opportunities to ruck. His inclusion was to bolster the WA crowd. I am too glad that he was not injured either!

That's what I mean, we all know he played shit, and that he had limited game time, why stick the boot in.........well I guess I already know the answer to that. Just pisses me off, and it shouldn't. Just Freo fans being Freo fans I guess, 20 years of nothing but bitterness & hatred towards big brother will do that to a person

I forgot to watch the game, but not surprised NN didn't get much of the ball, IRS has never been s game for ruckmen/tall players. Would be nice if they introduced throw-ins, so that ruckmen aren't virtually excluded from the game.
