Freo supporters have nothing better to do but beat up on WCE when we aren't doing so well and making a big deal about the criminal troubles of some past players. I can't wait to LOL when GCS and GWS win Grand Finals before the purple boys do. It won't take those 2 clubs 18 years to even make it to a GF that's for sure.

I think they should be more worried about their 'prized recruit' Colin Sylvia being sent off to train with Peel for not meeting AFL standards, lol
Who cares, he'll no doubt be chopped off the list come the end of this year when Freo finally realize they have an aging list that won't win them a premiership, but that's assuming they weren't stupid enough to give him a post 2015 contract of coarse.

WTF! The sydney academy has 550 (!!!) kids enrolled! So from 12 years old onwards they've got ~80-90 kids per age group! That's a bit ridiculous as far as advantaged recruiting pools go!

Yep and that 80-90 kids per year are hand picked from try outs of 1000+ kids .
This is why academy and father son are completely different .
Academy is an assembly line of hand picked talent only certain teams can have access to . Plus Sydney will have had 2 father son selections worthy of first rounders in the last 5 years + cola ! How much of an advantage does the afl want to give them .

We should lump something in that we've always been against and act nonchalant like it was always a part of the same discussion.

Seriously though, we should employee a lobbyist to continually negotiate changes with the AFL. Considering how often "stakeholders of the game" start discussions which end up in rule changes, we'd be mad not to.
