Gee I love watching the Hawks.
Was barracking for the bombers but the Hawks just know how to play attacking footy like us.

And they were missing a huge chunk of their team.
Big warning signals.
Agree, like all good premiership teams, they just know how not to lose.

Chappy is old. But when he gets the ball and uses it, it reminds us of what a shit hot team we have had over the past years.
Thats what I said to my kids.

"Don't you love it that one of our players changes teams and makes a difference"
I guess most here want him to be like Prismall. Have a couple of good games, get delisted, and then they can say "great call cats, how good are we with list management?"

Balme has said public, "we'd rather make a call one year too soon"

Ryder getting hurt helped the Bombers really, Daniher was getting touched up by Gibson.. he went into the ruck, bombers didn't just bomb to the talls anymore, more avenues to goal, Gibson taken out of the game and they got back in
Was listening to SEN at 1/2 time.
Dermie said "I know this sounds stupid, but I'd sub Daniher right now to change the targets"

Reckon the guy is a knob, but gee he nailed that.

Yeah I said to missus as well

If the bombers can't beat the Hawks tonight they won't for a while

Chuck the keys they had out back in and they won't let that game get near that close
It was as if the Hawks took their foot off the pedal in the 3rd and caught their breath, without letting the Bombers get too far ahead. They let the Bombers tire themselves out- they got a huge number of possessions (411 vs 314) and loads more tackles (66 vs 46) than the Hawks- then a couple of kicks and game over!

They were too one dimensional early and Gibson was just picking them off.
Ryder going down forced it to be mixed up, Hodge getting hurt also hurt the Hawks

Plus Gibson gets a free pass by the umps every week to hit the arms of taller marking forwards. Daniher could easily have got 3 frees in the first half 30/40 metres from goal.
