Someone in another footy group I'm in posted this -
"In a before the game segment of the Essendon/Hawthorn game during an interview with Jordan Lewis, channel 7 did something outrageous...they showed him kicking a goal, and in the background was commentary of a goal Stevie J kicked. The quote was "In good hands now...He's kicked 3, he is a genius!" This got me so f***ing mad. You can't just take highlights from a better player, and put them to the sook known as Lewis."

Also, did anyone hear Bwuce say that Heppel is good enough to play for the Hawks? Grrrrr

:( :( :(

Makes me sad you've not known the love of a cat :(
Just reading this - I've got a story. I was always a dog person. Still am. But I broke up with a missus long ago and had a few days on the tiles and when the joy of being f*cked up had subsided I was left absolutely broken and sorry for myself. Ended up sitting on a gutter feeling like every living being on earth had taken a shit inside my skull along with this really horrid cotton wool-like feeling that I can still remember but can't describe properly.

Anyway I've gone the full sad sack and was sitting on the gutter staring vacantly at nothing when I felt something brush my hand. It was this stray cat, a big orange one. It was pretty rough-looking with chewed ears and all but here it was, doing the old leg brush, turn and circle like cats do when they like you. I spent nearly an hour there, mucking around with the cat as I mentally picked myself up off the canvas again. It was an incredible little moment in my life.

I'll always respect cats.

Aww, that's a great story Sicko :).

I'm not really a cat person either (sorry KittyAilurophile ;)) but I found my last cat in similar circumstances. Was about 22, living in St.Kilda, and was sitting in a park after a big night out-must've been about 5 or 6am. A 3-legged cat came along, did the same old leg brush, then hopped up on my lap. I got up to stumble home and she followed me, and sat outside my flat patiently until I let her in. I ended up keeping her for 10 years. She was the best :thumbsu:.

Bomber knew the game was gone at the set up just prier to Thyril's last goal, you would have thought with the experience of Fletcher they would have got that right, just on Thyril's game he was the one that just kept digging deep and giving them a lift, hate the little prick mainly because of Bruce and rabbit Dawk supporters but last night he found enough to get them over the line. Hallo Trav.

If that had been me it would have been a 4 foot Tiger snake.

pretty pissed, wanted Essendon to win but had a feeling Dawks would squeak out the win. Chapman was typically brilliant when the game was on the line. He must have setup 2 goals in that final quarter and then slotted the goal which gave them the lead 3 minutes from time.

Tried to play possession footy and they ultimately coughed it up. That's where they miss Bellchambers or a Harry Taylor-type, someone who you have 100% faith in to contest the high ball and either mark it or have it knocked over the line to waste precious seconds.
Dawks will get nailed by Fremantle next weekend, their slide is coming boys :D
Bloody hell! Another one of those horrible games where I want both teams to destroy each other?
I think I'm going to have to get therapy......

that's what I mean, no excuses as they have had 4 praccie games to get it right and ensure they keep it under 130 so I dunno, ultimately comes down to the coach as he's the one calling the shots.
Don't forget that, in a lot of the praccie games, they played with an extended bench. I know it's not quite the same but the rotations weren't so difficult because of the extra players going through

Not many people would adopt a 3-legged cat, catgal. Good on you!
My vet kept a one-eyed dog that nobody wanted- it's nice to see people doing things like that, looking after animals with imperfections and not just having them put down.

No brainer for me, as much as I dislike the HFC, I will not support a Lyon coached side.
So the tie breaker is that the hawks are Victorian, so it is the same as last years GF, I hope the dockers get thumped. Won't happen though sadly, freo will probably win
