It'd be an interesting exercise to find out which players changed clubs prior to 2005- obviously there were problems with players other than just Cousins. Mainwaring springs to mind (though he played a few years earlier), Daniel Chick, Michael Gardiner.... It was a pretty long list!

Yes, he admitted it was a long list + difficult team rebuild to change the culture!

That will be awesome.
Every time I've been in Adelaide I'd stare across at the oval and think "why the hell can't they play footy there"?

A lot more people will now fly to Adelaide to watch games due to ease of access. Stay across from the casino and just walk across the river for the game.

I'm actually glad we (the cats) have got a birth early at adl oval. Ho pefully before a distinct home ground advantage becomes impossible to win here.....Port r5 i think.

Lovely + generous article about the Trent West + tomorrow's game -

It's on the SEN site.
I just like the way he's so open and humorous.

Just spoke about how he didn't think the Saints were using McEnvoy correctly, and how they've looked at Geelongs model and Sydneys for developing players etc.

Also spoke about coach accreditation.

From memory, wasn't he asked if he'd used Geelong's model + corrected interviewer by saying they'd looked at Sydney's + other teams' strategies? Or am I confusing him with Lyons? ???

Dunno- but West is a class act. He's always been quietly courteous when being interviewed and never says anything bad about anyone. Seems like a good young lad.
