2014 SC Midfield Structure

3 0 7 without GAJ or Pendles

This is what I went. Will see if it pays off. Has meant I can go a 5 premo defence and 4 premos and 2 midpricers forward. Laidler and Langdon's scores probably mean it hasn't worked out as well as I thought this week but Rohan and Mcdonut will have hurt alot of teams. If my premium mids can almost match Pendles and GAJ's scores and my rookie mids can beat out the rookies scores from other lines then I think it'll work out pretty well.

Ended up going with only 4 mid premos - Ablett, Watson, Rockcliff, Beams

Means I loose Libba but I I brought in Roughead at F4 instead (Caddy and Higgins at F5 and F6)

Means I don't have to play Rohan or McDonough at F6 anymore.

Probably Redden. I started with him last year expecting a breakout that didn't come so I'm sure to have been a year early.

I'll take a stab and say S.Thompson from Adelaide. Slipped last year but averaged 110.45 in 2011/12. Nicely priced at 526k. Massive POD.

Not worried about 2 rookies on the field up forward. Will take a hit there in points if it means starting with a midfield like that. Rohan will play most games so he gets the F5 gig and one of Impey/Mcdonuts/JKH will play F6 depending on their selections and who starts as sub. I was never a fan of having mid pricers anyway.

Pitiful was alright, - was just getting warmed up when the game ended, he'll be an asset to me - positive he didnt get injured that i know of

Really interesting part of the field this year. Gonna really determine how people go I think.

Personally I've got 4-6.

GAJ, Pendles, Cotchin, Beams.

As you can see I've ignored the byes for now. First three I hope will be top three mids. Beams doesn't need explanation (might even be fourth best mid!). In the end I decided to just go with strongest combo and work on my bye strategy as I trade into byes.
