2 Thursday night and 4 Friday night games, not sure what you're complaining about there

I love that we only have 5 Sunday games and 14 of our games will be on Free to Air. I have Foxtel so it doesn't bother me but as tigland said it's really good for our brand, those first 7 when we're still chasing memberships are going to be great for exposure.

Very happy

I am at work so dont have the time to do it myself but can someone compare who we won against last year and use those results with our draw next year. Would give us a base line of wins that should be a minimum.

woot 2 QLD games in first 5 rounds. Saints, Lions, GWS and bunny team Swans, plus the druggies twice. Freo in Melbourne, Cats away is actually at MCG, 1 trip to Adelaide and 1 Perth.

and... round 1 we play Sat, Carlton play SUnday night - meaning an extra day break coming into round 2

VERY GOOD DRAW!!

min 16 wins expected here.

Very happy with the fixture. Should be consecutive finalists for the first time in god knows how long. First time we have had an expansion club twice in a season. Another game in Cairns, though, which is disappointing.

My thoughts:

Expected Wins (9):

Rd. 1: Gold Coast
Rd. 3: Bulldogs
Rd. 5: Brisbane
Rd. 9: GWS
Rd. 10: Melbourne
Rd. 15: St. Kilda
Rd. 16: Brisbane
Rd. 19: GWS.
Rd. 22: St. Kilda

Expected Losses (2):

Rd. 4: Collingwood
Rd. 23: Sydney (ANZ)

50/50 games (11):

Rd. 2: Carlton
Rd. 6: Hawthorn
Rd. 7: Geelong
Rd. 11: Essendon
Rd. 12: Kangaroos
Rd. 13: Fremantle
Rd. 14: Sydney (MCG)
Rd. 17: Port Adelaide
Rd. 18: West Coast
Rd. 20: Essendon
Rd. 21: Adelaide

Of the 50/50 games, I think we could win 6-7 of them. Carlton, Essendon, Fremantle, Port, West Coast, Adelaide. Possibly Geelong. The others are all genuine 50/50.

So we could possibly be in for 15-16 wins next year, hopefully.

Going by last year, 2014 should produce:

16 wins, and that is without doubling up against Essendon, which I think we can do, Sydney at the MCG, which is better for us, and Geelong who are slowly coming down, and I think we have a chance against.

So, possibly even 18-19 wins. (doubtful, but who knows. :p)
