To whom it may concern,

As you should know, last season I provided a weekly preview for each of the West Coast Eagles' matches. These were widely revered as the greatest in BigFooty's history, and proved to be a small glimmer of joy in an otherwise dreary 2013 season for our beloved Eagles.

It is with great regret that I announce that, just as Daniel Kerr and John Worsfold before me, I must step down from my post as Official Preview Champion of the World. Nowadays, my sport-related words come at a cost, and as I ply my trade elsewhere in the industry I no longer have the time to routinely pump out brilliance for this board. At least not for free.

Now, I know what you are thinking - "oh no, it just won't be the same without you, you are my hero TSYW, your previews were like a Naitanui hanger in word-form, I'm going to have to kill myself now..." - stop it, JUST STOP IT! Get ahold of yourselves, for christ's sake.

I have a plan...

THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO KEEP THE WCE BOARD PREVIEW LEGACY ALIVE

I am passing the baton on to you, all of you, to maintain the blisteringly high standard I set last year. Every week, somebody new will take their turn to provide the weekly preview, and in doing so put their own personal flavour on the week and the upcoming match. It's a huge responsibility and shouldn't be taken lightly.

We will use this thread for posters to sign up for their chosen week - I anticipate matches against Fremantle and North Melbourne will fly out the door quickest, so book your spot ASAP!

The best part? At the end of the season, a chosen panel will sift back through all the previews of the season and pick the very best of the bunch. The poster who provided it will win a magnificent prize. You want to be this poster.

Below are some rules and guidelines to consider before signing up:

• Don't sign up for a week and then forget or bitch out or something. That would be weak.
• Our previews don't need to be the most accurate or the most fact driven - they simply need to drum home the fact that West Coast are boss and the players and supporters of whoever we are up against are a bunch of complete meffs that deserve our disdain.
• Pictures are cool. Use pictures.
• Remember, you are representing all of us. Don't make us look like bells.

So that's pretty much it, register your interest and for what specific game below, and hopefully this gets up off the ground. Depending on numbers, we may do a preview for each of the NAB Challenge games, or maybe just have one for all three. I'm fully expecting this to fall flat and have about three people sign up, but I'm hoping that you are all cool. You're all cool, right?
