Just really need to organise a draft night at some stage.

Participated in one last year, is actually really cool to do,

Last year we had several guys who weren't able to get to computer for draft night,

It allowed you to pre-assemble your preffered list beforehand and would automatically use your next on your list (after allowing for those already chosen) as your pick,

did Draft league last year, 8 people x squads of 22, no captains

worked a treat but bench size of 4 was a bit small

Smaller the better, i vote for less than 22 players - 15 sounds good , no captain, true test of skill time boyz

It's not a cash league, so all you have to do is taken down the names, start a league on the site and organise a time for everyone to buy the players..

what does everyone think about pick 1 in the draft. I assume Ablett went no.1 in most people's drafts last year - but could Dangerfield/McVeigh/Mitchell all present better value considering the positions you can select them in?

This is based on their being no captains btw.

Not for first pick, perhaps Pendles,

You're right though, you do need to make sure you fill each of the positions as you go through the draft,

But not No.1,

you'd be kicking yourself if you didn't have GAJ or Pendles when the opportunity arose, IMO

as our season went on, everyone was desperate for defenders and forwards averaging more than 80 pts, whereas there were plenty of mids floating around all year. (we had max squads)

I think if I had pick 1, i would seriously consider dangerfield. Mcveigh and mitchell are a little hit and miss and they would potentially still be available at your next pick - but dangerfield is ultra premium and potentially will average 15 more than the next best fwd plus dual position.

To determine the draft order we have a contest and then you can pick where you want to go in the draft order (a bit like the cox plate draw) with the banzai method. I will definitely going to pick 3 in the draft if i can get it.

There are only draft leagues for regular posters. Maybe try your luck at normal SC.

Does anyone know how to join multiple leagues? The SC site says you can join up to 5 draft leagues specifically.

a good question. I emailed SC website yesterday because i couldn't navigate between my 2 draft leagues at the click of a button (like they promised).

i'll keep you posted

I can't join more than 1 either. I've emailed Support.

SC site has been comical so far. You'd think they would have done Beta testing before opening to the public.
