Agree with all you said except GAJ Toxic. :thumbsu:

I started with him, sold him then got him back - TBH whilst i made money his last 7 weeks on average were pretty poor for the comps best SC option. I can see a new role for him, don't get me wrong is possibly the best player I'll ever see but from a SC point of view i think there are others who will be slightly (60K or more) cheaper than him who will average the same as him next year

Ok so I think I have my definite locks for my 2014 SC side.

B - Thompson, Walker, Hibberd, Bock, Suckling

M - Ablett, Pendles, J.Selwood, Dangerfield, Watson, J.Martin, M.Crouch

R - Goldstein, Minson (McBean)

F - Naitanui, D.Martin, Hogan

Have to fill the rest of the blanks in with rookies, midpricers and about 1 or 2 more premiums but I'm happy with this template for next years side. :thumbsu:

Beams.beams.beams and did I mention beams.

Nice team mate, pretty pricey but a decent GnR template with a couple of mid pricers.

Instead of picking goldstien/minson im going to try work out 2014's version. Lobbe/leuy/ sandilands a scary pic. Dont think he will dominate with 2 other rucks to relieve him. beams will come close to pies best scorer next year as swanny may rest up fwd more as he gets on.

Apologies JM if you posted anything worth reading or commenting on.......Just felt like i had to be part of this for some reason!

By all means mate post away.

Do you have any tips you are willing to share for 2014?

Intersted in your thoughts. ;)

You blokes are very keen....I'm trying to catch up on 6 months of my career I lost during the last SC season..........Starting team, trading strategy and luck through injuries suspensions will put you at the pointy end!

Also having access to a gun group of SuperCoaches like SCE!

how does one become a part of the SCE group? is it by invite only?

Hey toxic Usually you do your time in a rookie group like YSCC until you get some credit up and we'll have a look at you...........Only kidd'n FBDonk, keep your knickers on!

It is invite only; however we are always looking and it's certainly not a mate of a mate recruiting process.
We pretty much work out who is hanging around for the next season and how many numbers we need to make up if any, we only have the 36 coaches making up 2 leagues and probably loose around 2-3 each year for varrying reasons. We'll each make some nominations based around coaches we've see performing well consistantly, forum posting and commitment, and generally how we thing they'll fit into the group. We are also looking at targeting specific club knowledge where we seem to lack a little in clubs like Melbourne, Dogs, GWS, GC, Port.....all the clubs everyone loves!

Anyway, we'll be on the prowl pretty soon I imagine if not already!

Yeo is very relevant if he assumes beau Waters type role

Indeed. Playing on Subi 12 times a year should suit his game. I'm calling an 80+ average for him in 2014 just based on that.

IMO, I'd still call him not relevant for 2014, but in 2015, assuming this happens,

I reckon a 90+ average is not out of the question. at his sub $350K price tag he is relevant

He'll be 2014's Dylan Roberton, good improvement in SC scoring at new club, but not enough to justify backline spot,

I reckon he'll average 70-80 (only played ~25 games now with ave of 60), FWIW

My mate stayed with Roberton for most of the year, and there were about 7 games where Roberton actually won it for him. If Yeo can be that sort of guy, then he is most definitely in the frame.

I've watched a lot of Yeo which is a given because I'm a Lions supporter and he previously was at our club. I wouldn't be touching him. His a good player and does a good defensive job and can provide some run from the back. But his game doesn't really suit supercoach.

Even if West Coast try him in a new role, I'd be staying away. And I'm not being biased because he left us or anything. I'm a pretty big fan of the kid.

F - Naitanui, D.Martin, Hogan
Big call on Hogan. Will most likely cost 180+ and then has to compete with Clarke, Dawes, Watts and Howe for 40 odd entries. Beware the big power forward in his first year.

My teams changed a million times since then mate.

Needless to say Hogan isn't in it. :thumbsu:
