Can't agree with Boyd, he'll be a KPF with a very high price tag (180k+ I reckon). If Hogan's cheap I'll probably pick him up.

Whitfield started at $199,500 - 2012 No. 1 pick > Boyd (?)

Hogan was mini draft pick - similar to O'Meara/Crouch - $115,900

Would suggests this or something like it,

Good responses guys and quite a few funny ones too. LOL! :p

Jusrt thought of another one that I'll be sticking to next year.

NO DAYNE SWAN!

Yep you read it here first.

Judd Magics reasoning? Well I just got sick of Buckley playing Swan deep forward everytime the Pies had an easy game or wanted to rest Swan but not offfically rest him so Bucks would play him forward for 80% of the game.

So only going in with Pendles in my midfield from the Pies and no Swan.

I reckon I have a pretty good case for not picking Swan next year and am sticking to it. :thumbsu:

My starting mids will be Ablett, Pendles, J.Selwood, Dangerfield, Watson
How about Beams, 20 ppg underpriced compared to his 2013 starting price, with a full pre-season will provide much more value than pretty much any mid bar Murphy.

I think dane swan is one to trade in around half though the season. He seems to smash out scores in the second half of the year.I'm starting with 5 gun mids also Ablett,p'berry> locks watson should be good value also looking at libba,Jstevens maybe MMurphy depending on price.

Pick 21 midfielders and a ruckman

NC, which midfielder are you playing as R2?

Blitz, I suppose... ;)

(But you are spot on with choosing as many midfielders where you can) :thumbsu:

Pick 8 rookie defenders

This. :thumbsu:

Well maybe not 8 but I'll be picking 2 premo defenders and then go cheap as chips with the other 6.

The way I see it is that the defenders are so up and down and alot of them are shit .ie. Duffield that it's not worth spending all that money on them at the start of the season.

I'll b going 8 if I can find them premodef is latin for pooh

Nick Graham will be a lock for me as a high end rookie priced player if he's named for Rd1. Reckon he will be a regular in the Blues midfield rotations next year. I'm calling it now 90+ average

Unless malthouse turns him into another tagger like you guys need anymore of those:eek:.

For the high price rookies thurlow and GHS might see alot more games next year.

Juddys tips dont trade like juddy you will runout (of trades) with at least 6 rounds to go:p.
Avoid rage trading be patient with the player(s) you bring in you get them for a reason.
Late mail is tom lonners, jack watts,Nbrown both Mitch browns,Zac dawson, will have breakout years:eek:.

Chris Cain, mature age midfield rookie lock. Hoping that Jack Martin is given f/m classification.

B - Suckling, Handley
M - Ablett, Pendles, MMurphy, Danger, Jmart, MCrouch ( ;) )
R - Lobbe, MacIntosh
F - Walker, Wellingham, NicNat, Clark, Hogan, Thomas, Franklin

I'm thinking something like this -

B - Thompson, Taylor, Suckling, Docherty, Bock
M - Ablett, Pendles, Dangerfield, J.Selwood, Watson, J.Martin, M.Crouch
R - Goldstein, Minson
F - Naitanui, Hogan

Will fill in the blanks from there but I think that's an awesome start. :thumbsu:

Reckon that Ward, McVeigh and even perhaps Mitchell could be reclassified as B/M's next season, if that is the case Ward at 98ppg price is a lock for a defender.
I also don't think J.Martin will replicate O'Meara scoring wise, still looks quite lightweight and more of a flashy type player who could have some good scoring games but some bad ones early on. That is not to say one should not pick him, but he's probably not going to repeat what O'Meara did this season. Also surprised by the lack of Murphy, has been playing this year with various amounts of injury which have contributed to his lowish scoring, coupled with the fact that Malthouse has used him out of the centre for longer periods to compensate for his fitness issues. The last couple of games have seen Murphy back to his damaging best and I expect him to comfortable score at 110+ ppg next season once more. Beams at 102 ppg is also a steal.

Yes, those DPP's would be good, but will wait and see who does & doesn't get the nod for those,

Some talk Deledio might get back his DPP, Goddard to lose his,

Who else would we be liking for 2014 potentially?

Only thing about Murphy is that he is suspect when getting tagged.

Judd is getting on so I can see opposition teams just constantly tagging Murphy next season and he doesn't handle a tag very well.

I don't know if I want that sort of player in my midfield. Better going with true premos that can handle a tag I reckon. :thumbsu:

Beams I agree with but I've gone with Pendles instead. Don't like starting with 2 from the same team on the same line but that's just me. :thumbsu:

I don't think Murphy is as susceptible to the tag as people think he is. In round 23 he smashed Kane Cornes after half time and along with Gibbs (who is now finally getting some ample time in the midfield himself) were our two best players on the day. He has copped the number one tag over Judd since 2012 and his scoring outside of injury plagued stretches has still be elite. For 92ppg imo it would be foolish to discount him.

I might try and squeeze him in, will see how I go. :D:thumbsu:

Port took foot off pedal after halftime though,

I like Murph for 2014,

has averaged between 111-118 for last 4 years (09-12),

him at ~500k will be a steal, ;)

IMO,
