Ruckmen: Kreuzer, Wood, Warnock.
Can only really have 1 primary ruckman in the best 22. The quality is there, just need Kreuzer to stop kicking black cats & start kicking a football.

KPP: Henderson, Jamison, Waite, Rowe, Casboult, White, Watson, Giles, McInnes.
Should be 6 in the team, 3 at either end. One of them has to provide a chop out in the ruck. Waite & McInnes may not be around next year. Could really use some extra quality & depth.

Centre: Gibbs, Murphy, Judd, Carrazzo, Curnow, McLean, Robinson, Bell, Cachia, Cripps, Graham.
These are the players I'd back as able to play in the centre square, although some of them could & maybe should play as wing/flankers. There are some developing players that should improve this group. Could use some speed.

Flanker/Wing: Simpson, Yarran, Walker, Everitt, Menzel, Thomas, Tuohy, Docherty, Armfield, Ellard, Garlett, Buckley, Lucas, Sheehan, Johnson, Holman, Reynolds, Temay, Byrne.
I previously thought we should draft more outside run. But now I'd back Menzel, Docherty, Buckley & Thomas to be better in 2015 and improve the quality of this group. There's clearly plenty of depth.

Major deficiency in KPPs, could also use some speed in the centre.

OK, so I designed an algorithm to look through every post on the blues board.

The algorithm assesses the post and classifies it into common categories.

Here is the summary results.

Just brilliant ferrisb :thumbsu:

Only problem is you forgot to include in the graph - 'the time it takes Aph to delete posts'. :p:D

Robbo to Adelaide makes perfect sense.
Adelaide need to protect Dangerfield
Robbo spent his teen years in Adelaide
Robbo loves Eddie
I believe we're into Kerridge

Garlett is harder to call
Melbourne is home and where the baby is
WA makes sense and Eagles need him
Essendon are keen
Maybe Pears for Garlett (my suggestion)
I'm sorry. Could you please repeat that. I was a little distracted by your avatar

Awesome effort! Probably a wise move not to include the controversial 'Thorpe to Carlton' and 'unintelligible @A_Mackay posts' categories.

No post was left behind, Mezz.

First one is a subcategory under Non-rumours in Rumours thread.

Second one is a special A_McKay rebuttal sub-group within the Hughes Hindsight Drafting category.

Why do you think those two came up #1 and #2 on the rankings? :)

A question for the track and NB watchers re Holman .

I'm wondering whether going forward he may have what's required to be an upgrade on Curnow as our premier tagger .
Curnow has the fitness and the want for the job but there's no doubt his disposal is a major drawback .
Also i believe a big part of the taggers role is physical aggression and size helps here .
Holman stands at 187 atm and may still have a bit of growing to do ... the modern day mids are big boys and Curnow stands at only 182 .

Draft notes suggested that Holman is very aggressive and a tackling machine , I'm wondering what his kicking skills are like and if he has the will / potential to build the necessary tank ?

Interested in people's thoughts on this with an eye to what the side might look like in 2 years time .

I think in 2 years time he will come on to be more than just a tagger for us. I see him playing more a Carazzo style role, defensive mid that can not only hurt their opponent but run off and create headaches and havoc.

He's been playing off the backline a bit this year, and he's still skinny compared to where he needs to be if he wants to play that tagging role.
