The love & respect I have for you is indescribable @jcachia I am so so so proud of your hard work & can't wait for the new adventure we're going on as a family. Be proud of yourself buddy - look what you made!!! X

One clogger down, a few more to go. Hard to imagine this guy was delisted and then brought back only to occupy a spot on the list for two more years. All the best to him anyway, certainly not his fault.

He did his job when he was called on and now there isnt a spot. Wasn't hard to imagine because he worked his butt off to get back and then he earn spot.

I'd like to see....

Out: McLean, White, Sheehan

In: Everitt, Tuohy, Watson

So assuming Waite is gone mine would go.....

B: Tuohy - Jamison - Buckley
HB: Everitt - Rowe - Yarran
C: Simpson - Gibbs - Carrazzo
HF: Curnow - Hendo - Thomas
F: Menzel - Casboult - Walker
R: Kreuzer - Judd - Murphy
Int: Watson, Graham, Cripps, Docherty

I reckon Walker must play forward easily his best position IMO.

Sheehan has been impressive but still has a way to go. I have no doubt he will get his chance.

Very funny to see how some people have changed their opinions over 12 months. In August last year I posted this in jumper order to much derision. Especially with regard to McInnes.

Dumpmaster
Laidler
McCarthy
Mitchell
Duigan
Joseph

Used Cars - Whatever we can get.
Lucas
Warnock
Robinson
Yarran
McLean
Betts
Hampson
McInnes
Garlett

Vintage Cars - Somebody may buy them for a year, if they don't retire
Judd
Scotland
Waite

It seems I got Yarran and possibly Judd wrong (he did miss half the season, but his end of season was mint).

This year
Dumpmaster - no trade value
Temay
McInnes
Armfield
Used Cars - Whatever we can get.
Lucas
Watson
Warnock
Robinson
Garlett
Ellard
Vintage Cars - Somebody may buy them for a year if they don't retire due to stuffed bodies
McLean
Waite
Carrazzo

Not bad Bluesince62

Would have looked all the more impressive should have you just quietly clipped Yarran out of the Used Cars category. :)

McInnes is an odd one. Something changed for him, I feel.
Started the year slowly and really built up well and to the point I thought we'd see senior action and then it all went backwards quickly to the point he almost got into a dust-up with Jack Anthony on the field, a few weeks ago.....Sad.

Pretty sure McInnes will get the chop, but hopefully he bobs up at another club, even as a rookie.

Looks like it is going to be another sizeable list changeover by Mick, but its definitely warranted/overdue.

Judd (formality)
Lucas
Robinson
McLean (1 year contract extension likely)
Temay
McInnes
Waite (FA)
Reynolds
Graham
Wood
Cachia
Garlett
Casboult
White
Johnson
Ellard

That's a hell of a list - club will be very busy in the next few weeks leading up to Trade/FA period.

Can see first list of guys delisted being announced in next few days:

Temay
Reynolds
Cachia

McInnes might be gone, too.

Lucas, Robinson and Garlett to be trade bait or be signed up cheap late in the year.

Judd, McLean, Graham, Wood, White, Johnson and Ellard likely to get new contracts offered.

Waite likely to go to Norf via FA at this point and Cas could be out the door via trade, too.

Added to Scotto, Duigs and Boots already being gone, the above would see a total of 12 x changes (if all of Lucas, Robbo and Garlett were traded).

That's over a quarter of the list right there.

Would look to then bring in a few guys in via trade, at least one via FA and up to 9 x players (plus Fraser Russell via Cat B Rookie List) in the drafts.

Huge Off-season ahead Bluebaggers.

Temay is almost certain to get the chop this year, but I can't help feeling like he might be the kind of player that never sets the world on fire in the VFL yet performs a role in the seniors.

How many AFL teams delist players without actually finding out what they're made of at the top level? Our development of our kids has been horrendous the past decade and I think it's a priority going forward.

Reckon Lisle would be worth a shot on the rookie list. At 24, is a solid build and might be good depth player at least for NBs. Was swapped for Pick 29 in 2011 tho was only Pick 50 in his initial 2008 draft.

In saying this, I'd prefer to go younger with our KPP picks.

One player who did his best but couldn't quite make it at the top level down, a few more to go. Hard to imagine this guy was delisted and then brought back only to occupy a spot on the list for two more years. All the best to him anyway, certainly not his fault.

If the aim is to get them playing NB's....give them a vfl contract. No use wasting a rookie spot on them unless they really show something. If were delisting guys like cachia to free up spots, we shouldnt be wasting them on players like Lisle.

Yeah fair call SV. Don't know enough about him to make a proper call - I don't doubt the club is doing due diligence on every suitable and available KPP.

unfortunately for cachia it was never about not putting in the effort. It was more that he just didnt have the neccessary skills to make it, and the limited improvement i think was visible for all to see

Brisbane has delisted Raines, polkinghorne, lisle and wearden. Any interest? Lisle could be a good rookie pick if we lose casboult and Waite
I must admit I have been surprised at how quickly Polkinghorne has fallen away. 2-3 years ago he was looking like one of the Lions best up & coming midfielders. I'd be interested to know where it went wrong with him.

I think the delisting surprised him too, given he dressed up for Mad Monday. Fell away badly - couldn't break into a Brisbane team that was throwing opportunities everywhere.

Be happy with your fantastic strike rate, but don't try to gloss over that one.
