No decision could be made on Warnock before we know the long term prognosis for one M.Kreuzer.
I am in the camp that believes MK and RW cannot play in the same team.
With the very occasional exception 206 offers far too little around the ground. No urgency to get to contests,
and clearly does not believe blocking, shepherding and protecting the little blokes to be his responsibility. Can be
super effective tapping, although many get seduced by one or two standout contests, which could be brilliance
or just luck. As has been mentioned if he brought maximum intensity each week would be a much better prospect.
I am concerned for the future of "the Tractor" the article showing his preparation for life beyond football may be
prophetic. The kid is too honest to keep taking the big bucks if his body does not come up. Posters calling for MK to
be shelved for the season are off the mark. He needs to test his future viability for his sake and ours.
If Kreuze is "resurrected" would have no problem with Wood as back up, given that (pinch hitters) Casboult and Rowe now seem certain to be retained. We could draft (rookie or trade) a young ruck and shop RW around. We have to have an eye to the future. Warnock just seems comfortable doing just enough to retain his spot and lucrative pay packet, rather than being the best he can possibly be. If he raised his intensity, I would happily revise this opinion. (perhaps we do need to elevate Wood to make RW more "honest")
