True but Warnock would have quality over those selections.
I think the future of trading is in win win trades and a club has to deal honestly as a business would to have future success at the trade table (avoid burning bridges) Curiously how did you feel about the Everitt trade last year? I felt at the time we paid unders for him but considering your cap issues due to the buddy recruitment I understood it.
I don't think anyone was sour over the everitt deal, he was pushed out due to cap issues and last year was his only consistant season so his value wasn't too high.

Good to see him playing footy for the blues and likewise Laidler for us

If Rohan was offered up for Garlett, I'd drive Jeffy to Sydney.

Rohan will be a gem, think of a better version of Kane Tenace (with more pace!) (yes I know that rhymes).

Jeffy is a proven performer going thru a bad patch where as Rohan is potentially a very good HF who has not done much but lives off his potential.

He has struggled since his injury. As Superstar Swan mentioned before though he is highly rated internally by Sydney though.

Jeffy's form slumps last whole seasons though. If we could get a decent mid in the right age bracket for Garlett I'd make that trade easy.

Even though it's merely a hypothetical.

Rohan's scope/ceiling as a 189 cm utility with blistering pace is far higher than Jeffy's.

You state that Rohan hasn't done much and is living off of his own potential .... thats pretty much the same description for Garlett who I haven't seen impact a game this season (or for parts of last season).

Garlett

1. Beaten by a first gamer.
2. Missed from 15 metres out, 5 metres out
3. Unsighted
4. Dropped
5. Dropped
6. 3 goals and looked great
7. Unsighted and looked disinterested in chasing
8. bye
9. Squibbed it as sub and kicked a great goal straight afterwards which sort of sums up Jeffy's career
10. Squibbed it again as sub and kicked a great goal
11. 3 goals as sub but didn't get a touch or tackle otherwise
12. Some good plays but squibbed it about 5 times in crucial moments
13. Dropped again.

So 1 great game and loads of shit. In saying that our forward line has struggled all season with Waite and Henderson in horrid form. Our leading goal kicker is Menzel who has been sub for far too many games and missed games with injury too.

Surprise that there isn't more Menzel worship going on here.

He is leading our goal kicking tally

DESPITE

1. Having one decent preseason under his belt as a 2nd year player
2. Playing in a side that hates honouring leading forwards
3. Been injured or playing as the sub for 5 whole games.
