Are Sydney really going to be that much harder to beat now do you think ? Or no different to what Hawthorn were

Buddy wont be as amazing as they expected. He wanted to move from Vic to be under less media scrutiny, but now he will be under more stress than ever before.

He deserves the chance to shine again and we will be beside ourselves when he makes his first big run bouncing the ball down the wing charging towards the goals and lets a big one rip and scores his first goal from 50 metres out.
The ROAR will be deafening :) .

I think Sydney will be the team to beat.

People are quick to write off Buddy, but Hawthorn knew he was going. To prepare for his departure, and also to make themselves less predictable, they changed their gameplan to direct much less ball at Franklin. I remember seeing a stat that forward entries directed to Buddy had dropped in half. Expect to see Buddy get more of the ball again.

Also, it isn't just Franklin. They were decimated with injuries. If they get full seasons from Goodes, Jetta, Rohan, LRT, Johnson, Shaw, Tippett to add to their core midfield of ROK, Kennedy, Jack, McVeigh, etc. ... look out. Ruck division might be their main weakness, wouldn't want Pyke to be getting injured.

After watching the buddy presser I'm worried again. Their full strength side is scary. And teams like Adelaide will get Taylor walker back and Gold Coast are getting scarier. I'm really worried that we have missed our opportunity.

Also this talk of pods being a fix, well now malthouse and other clubs are showing interest. We may end up with no more forwards next year against the swans machine !!

I am hoping it all backfires for them

Sydney has a elite midfield, possibly top 2 in the league. The main thing is Rohan and Jetta around the talls will be scary, they are handy 'smalls' to have.

It all depends on their injuries. They had a massive list of outs this season as compared to 2012. They will be primed to go again for the prize no doubt.
