Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
Add in the fact that Weitering appears ready to go from the start. We definately need Weitering who is being touted as the early number 1 pick. Key Position Defender who can also go into the midfield. Would sure up a key defensive post we desperately need.
Our next pick best available, i would definately place an emphasis on leadership and will to win high on the agenda
We have to build from the back and start developing a spine. We do that by picking Jacob Weitering. We also try and trade our way to get Josh Schache.
If we are going to rebuild through the draft, let's try and emulate Hawthorn. The above two guys are our Roughead/Franklin combo. These guys will naturally take a few years to develop, in which case by then we pick our midfield (assuming we finish bottom 4 over the next 4 years).

We already 'are' the next Melbourne...
If Hendo wants to go then play hardball and try and get a top ten pick for him and put Yarran on the table.
Best player available.
Need 3 KPP (2 of which are top level) and 3 top level mids. Then we need the rest.
If we fail to win more then 5 games this year.. Do we get a end of first round priority pick ?
Thanks, Siri.....No.
PP's can only be granted by the AFL commission.
Jacob Weitering come on down.
Should we build a midfield or get our bookends ready first?
It's hard to gauge where we are at currently with our young players so ******* inexperienced. We hardly have any youngsters looking as if they're 100% capable of being AFL standard players. Cripps and Docherty are the exceptions.
Menzel, Jaksch, Buckley and Graham should play atleast 90% of games for the rest of the season. The rest of the youngsters... Whiley, Boekhurst, Holman, DVR, Smith and Bryne should be played in games of three. With only maybe two or three playing together.
Whilst this will still be playing the kids... we'll still have the older more experienced fringe players such as Carrots, Curnow, etc. preventing us from getting destroyed every game. Hopefully it'll allow a smoother transition instead of all together.
