Surely you just take the best player, no? Who gives a shit how tall they are? If they can play, they can play. I'm sure you don't want any more Shaun Hampson's running around, do you?

Footy nous and talent >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> size.
Someone should tell Hawthorn they've got it wrong and they should delist Mitchell (179cm), Rioli (177cm) and Puopolo (173cm) if they want to get anywhere. Ffs.

Surely best available can include "flakey" in its assessment of if they fit the best available tag?

Maybe their Flakiness allowed them to land a pick X and if they were not "flakey" they would have gone 10, 20, 30 picks earlier....
Why do people think players like Milera can't develop a better inside game but KPP can dramatically improve on all their weaknesses and that pure inside mids will be able to develop outside games where they can hurt the opposition.
Most scores these days are created from opposition turnovers and this is where the outside players come into there own.
Most teams nowadays only play about 2 to 3 real inside players. Having a poor outside game Is probably more of a disadvantage then having a poor inside game.
Also you perform aswell as Milera has at SANFL level as a kid if you are just a flakey midfielder he offers a lot more then that

The old lady in the tuckshop is an upgrade on Tutt. ;)

Not with you this time Matty, reckon we are better off going for bigger bodies right now.

If we are going to get a mid this year (and I'm not advocating we do, prefer all talls) then it would seem like a better long-term option to pick up a bigger player (like Oliver) who can work alongside Cripps in the guts.
Gresham is, in my opinion, the second best all round mid in this years draft. The only all round mid thats better than him is Parish... and will be hoping like hell that he actually slides past Melbourne, *, and GC17.

We would be remiss as a club not to take him, Gresham, with pick 11 if he is still around.

Bishop said this...............reputation on the line:

If this is what Weidemen did indeed record...........then SOS will get what he wants..............if he wants it now.

Think the article about the test said that the goal was 14 on the beep. correct me if I'm wrong but those two results would be world's apart (huge jump from 12ish to 14ish).

That's hardly going to thrill anyone........tanking for SOS? :)

His ankle clearly still isn't right. The big question is, will it ever be ......... He may slip to #11, and ild take him there. Would probably take him at #8 if noone else was available .......

Some are saying we should go Schache and Collins, I would prefer Weitering and Weideman :D

He might slip to #19 after that performance.
