Do Melbourne fans hold grievances towards Dawes and Lumumba? Most 'pies fans wished them well and weren't unhappy with them moving on.

Is Dawes and Lumumba grievances for you or us? Because I'm pretty sure all Pies supporters are thrilled with how that's panned out.

And I don't think anyone is pretending Howe is a real coup or anything. Just don't see the rivalry, no one on this side of the fence is unhappy with how it's all unfolded.

Well aware of whom the kid supports, which is why I'm glad the Tigers didn't pick him up. You'd be naive to think however, that Murray won't be in his ear for the next two years, given that Melbourne was the arch enemy back in the days he was playing.

Darcy is already home. Peter is on the record saying his biggest regret was leaving Collingwood.

Does anyone know how many live picks we will have in the rookie draft?

I know that Derek said that we had the scope to bring in between 2 to 5 players in the draft (I assume Frost is outside of this as he was an automatic elevation). We have also committed to Keeffe and Thomas so with us picking up 4 players in the draft, does that leave us with just the one live pick for Friday?

Power to you if you believe that his Grandad is going to tell him anything he hasn't heard before, but it just doesn't seem too likely - especially considering the only reason he particularly cares about Collingwood is because of an archaic family link.

Have you seen them play? Of course they're our grievances! Having said that, Lumumba gets roundly booed when we play you guys with more fervour than anyone other than Jack Watts. Howe's the kind of person that will stoke the rivalry, especially in the week leading up to the game and even more if he takes a hanger during.

People really overate hine. Has been mediocre since landing beams IMO. Especially with a lot of list cloggers eg. Russel, lynch, young ect

Looks like they may have found a couple of players due to copping asada nab cup bans. Both Hartley and Mitch Brown were part of the group they brought in.

Right now we should have 4 Category A Rookie spots available, with our list standing at 39/1 (plus 2 Cat. B Rookies). If we take Keeffe and Thomas back that will still leave 2 more rookie spots, though Tim Golds is considered a good chance to fill one of those.

Bit rough. Has nailed a lot of mid-late rounders who have turned into gems for us.

Just off the top of my head Elliott, Langdon and Marsh are pretty good recent examples of great late picks.

Wow really NO ONE heard of degoey before the draft and look what we have, Maynard wasn't expected to go that high. Moore was expecting landing langdon and Marsh after pick 50 is a seriously good, let's go back and look at the 05 draft Thomas wasn't near the top 5 yet we picked him and pendlebury was a top 20 pick but the 15-20 range. Hine doesn't care he picks who he wants and turns them into gems
