Home? Dad Peter has erased that from his memory, Brownlow and all.

Do Melbourne fans hold grievances towards Dawes and Lumumba? Most 'pies fans wished them well and weren't unhappy with them moving on.Look, I'd like to do better than one with the team that finished 12th too; but things are limited.
In all seriousness though, will be a good thing for traditional footy if this rivalry does wake up again. Was the perfect class rivalry back in the 50s.
You've got the Weideman and Moore grievances, then Dawes and Lumumba for us, and Howe for you guys.
Since 2011 when our first pick was Paine at 50.First time in ......how long? that Dekka hasn't had the privilege of getting in with some early picks. Speculative yes, surprised we never took a potential KP obviously didn't rate them at all.
Taylor Adams?Forgot about Kennedy! Tyson, Frost, Treloar, Bugg, (Golds), (any others?) were all teammates a couple of years ago too.

He certainly deserves a bit of luck, I hope it works out well for him.Essendon took our old player Michael Hartley, interesting to see if he can get a decent AFL run.
Well aware of whom the kid supports, which is why I'm glad the Tigers didn't pick him up. You'd be naive to think however, that Murray won't be in his ear for the next two years, given that Melbourne was the arch enemy back in the days he was playing. The good news for us all is that the Queens Birthday game should have some more spice if Dawes, Lumumba and Howe wasn't enough. The bad news for you lot being that he's a Richmond supporter.

Darcy is already home. Peter is on the record saying his biggest regret was leaving Collingwood. We'll take Darcy Moore home in return, if you like?
Wouldn't have mattered. The kid grew up a Collingwood supporter. Bleeds black and white. Says it has always been his dream to play for the pies. Melbourne wouldn't have had a sniff even if he had been eligible to go there.Wasn't eligible as a Father/Son for us, even though he played his best footy in red and blue.

Power to you if you believe that his Grandad is going to tell him anything he hasn't heard before, but it just doesn't seem too likely - especially considering the only reason he particularly cares about Collingwood is because of an archaic family link.Well aware of whom the kid supports, which is why I'm glad the Tigers didn't pick him up. Have you seen them play? Of course they're our grievances! Having said that, Lumumba gets roundly booed when we play you guys with more fervour than anyone other than Jack Watts. Howe's the kind of person that will stoke the rivalry, especially in the week leading up to the game and even more if he takes a hanger during. Is Dawes and Lumumba grievances for you or us? Because I'm pretty sure all Pies supporters are thrilled with how that's panned out.
And I don't think anyone is pretending Howe is a real coup or anything. Just don't see the rivalry, no one on this side of the fence is unhappy with how it's all unfolded.
Looks like they may have found a couple of players due to copping asada nab cup bans. Both Hartley and Mitch Brown were part of the group they brought in.Essendon took our old player Michael Hartley, interesting to see if he can get a decent AFL run.
Right now we should have 4 Category A Rookie spots available, with our list standing at 39/1 (plus 2 Cat. B Rookies). If we take Keeffe and Thomas back that will still leave 2 more rookie spots, though Tim Golds is considered a good chance to fill one of those.Does anyone know how many live picks we will have in the rookie draft?
I know that Derek said that we had the scope to bring in between 2 to 5 players in the draft (I assume Frost is outside of this as he was an automatic elevation). We have also committed to Keeffe and Thomas so with us picking up 4 players in the draft, does that leave us with just the one live pick for Friday?
People really overate hine. Has been mediocre since landing beams IMO. Especially with a lot of list cloggers eg. Russel, lynch, young ect

Yes, can't wait until we swoop on Petracca & Weideman in 2 years time...Gosch's paddock to the Holden centre is a short walk.“They (Murray and father Mark) are so excited for me. Collingwood is just next door so it’s not too far anyway. I’m so excited to be part of the Melbourne Football Club.”
