We have a total of 4 more list places. Assuming no DFA by tomorrow (close of 3rd & final period).
Hence on Friday we will take 4 rookies...2 live picks plus Keeffe & Thomas.
We enter 2016 with:
39 senior players
5 Cat A rookies
2 Cat B rookies

We upgrade 1 rookie (nominated) before season commences.
The Shazz LTI will not be activated until necessary.

Does anyone know how many live picks we will have in the rookie draft?

I know that Derek said that we had the scope to bring in between 2 to 5 players in the draft (I assume Frost is outside of this as he was an automatic elevation). We have also committed to Keeffe and Thomas so with us picking up 4 players in the draft, does that leave us with just the one live pick for Friday?

We will probably pick up Golds, but plenty of players train with a club during the off-season and don't get picked up, so it's not an absolute certainty.

I'm pretty sure he will be there as well, but you never know. I'm pleased the remaining drafts are only now two days away, I love draft time and I'm keen to see the lists finalised.

I suspect if blair struggles to play seniors with toovey and caff not in we will be improved.
