Good punt. The kid was touted as a top 3-5 draft pick for 2014 before he did his ACL.

Lever into $51 having starting at $151 on Thursday night. Sportsbet offering just over even money on cashback today.

Anyone know when the Rising Star is Nominated for the round?

Fair point but it's their structure, losing them shouldn't have a huge influence on the result especially against a young team. I thought the 26.5 Port line was nearly laughable. They will just ruin WC at home. Collingwood deserve to be closer to 1.60 after their first 5 weeks too.

Three out of three wrong on that post :$

You'll be ripping up your WC ticket about 6 minutes in :$

:thumbsu:

Stick to Bay 13..... chump :$

Well at least we won. Port winning by less than 16 wouldve hurt

How prophetic this turned out to be:

At least when your own team screws you this Sunday arvo you will be able to take solice in a victory ;)

And im not rubbing it in to you, genuinely feel for you on the last leg of that multi mate, unlucky.

Placed a bet in play on a game this week at highly inflated odds. The bet was accepted and then got paid out. The money has since been retracted with an email stating that they are able to retract if they have made an error. Has this happened to anyone else and if so how did you go contesting it?

You cant contest it (well you can but it wont do you any good) they're allowed to void a bet if an obvious error was made in putting the odds up

Which bookmaker is this may i ask? With errors like that, dont they have to contact you before the game is played...cuz they could just pull the dodgy and not pay you back your orginal stake when you the bet loses.

I bet on an error with williamhill collected a decent amount, they let the bet stand and when it won they didnt ask for the winnings back. Limited my acc tho so I can't bet online, have to ring them up to place a bet now.

No they can wait until after the game is finished if they want. One of the reasons its not usually a good idea to take advantage of errors as some bookies could just take a free hit at you and keep your money if you lose and void if you win. Obviously they wouldnt gather many fans getting a rep for doing that but it could happen

The bet was placed at half time during the pies game. It was a line bet but the odds were much greater that the usual 1.90. I received an email stating something similar to what Jugada wrote. They have given me a couple of free bets but it no where near makes up for the winnings. Was just curious to see if others have had this happen and the outcome. Cheers

Take your free bets and run.

Out of interest what were the odds they put up by mistake?
