I haven't really bothered with the brownlow this year, all I have is 'Hawthorn team of brownlow winner' @ 41.00, so hoping Mitchell can give me a run for my money even though I can't stand him. :(

Damn missed it
They're owned by the same company and had similar offers on Pendles so hopefully you'll get a similar deal on sportsbet later today

Got in after 1st week of finals results, backed in Hawks/Fyfe and Eagles/Fyfe for premiership/brownlow double.

Now the premiership bit is guaranteed, I only need Fyfe to get up tonight for a nice collect :D

What are peoples throught on St Kilda?

I know Armitage has a had a ripper of a year but he hasnt polled well in the past. Someone like Riewoldt has a chance so sneakily grab it for value i think.
Armitage had a great start but i think Jack Steven had a more consistent and overall better year.

best of luck tonight lads (and any ladies here). another year of fun, keeping up with doing the round by round votes is something i'd really hammer home to any new punters - it is worth doing weekly votes as they happen, to keep things fresh in the mind and not be trying to remember in round 19 if a bloke had a good game in round 4. hopefully we have plenty of winners here tonight and as many of us are cashed up as possible.

best results for me will be a win to Hannerbery, Gaff, Priddis straight out. mundy each way (his finish is massive, but missing the final round may be very costly)

team votes: rischitelli at the Suns; macrae at WB; harvey (w/o Goldstein) at NM; swan at collingwood; treloar at GWS

rnd 17-23 most votes: dustin martin $51; tom mitchell $15; dane swan $41

have taken a fair few multis also, hopefully one or two come in. a couple of locks in those, i reckon, are Vince, Selwood and dustin martin.

risks of the count for me at their odds; sam mitchell (has to become the oldest first time winner); goldstein (other rucks have had better seasons and missed out).

let's check back in tomorrow and see how we all went. enjoy the night, folks.

Anybody have thoughts on Pendlebury or swan getting a top 10 place? Both averaged around 28-29 touches a game this year and I doubt they'll have many other players stealing their votes

Realistically how many votes will fyfe finish on, cos I don't think hell poll in the last 8 weeks or so due to form and injury.

I think Mitchell is the only realistic chance of beating Fyfe. Could happen if Fyfe polls a few 2's. Unlikely though. Gaff, Goldstein and Priddis to round out the top 5. Dangerfield I have on low 20's, polling in ten games.

I think it will be like Watson in 2012, who had 26 votes after round 14, and even if he didn't poll another vote, would still have won the award, but managed another four more. Fyfe had a better 14 rounds this year than Watson did in 2012, so hopefully he can hang on. Don't forget we were all talking about a record number of votes till he got injured.

Not afraid that his on field indiscretions are going to turn those 3's into 2's and 1's?

Mitchell @21s with WH. $50 max

Nope, umpires shouldn't really vote that way, and surely his on field indiscretions were after when he would have polled the majority of his votes?
there were 3 different ones. And the brownlow is for the best and fairest player he was certainly the best but im pretty sure umpires do vote that way.
