There's not many players from the teams with the Round 11 Bye that I'd be interested in that this point, that I haven't already got.

Who is on the radar for everyone else from Adel, Bris, Carl, Haw, Rich, WB?

Ade - Jacobs, Smith, Danger
Bris - Rocky, Beams
Carl - Docherty
Haw - Birch, Hodge
Rich - Houli
WB - Murphy, Dollhouse, Bonts

Carl- nobody. Maybe doch

Bulldogs- dollhouse, bob

I can't wait for these bye rounds to come already, it's really gonna sort out some teams. With rookies already maturing and downgrades options being limited, it's going to be interesting to see the carnage coming out of those rounds. It's really a massive time to trying and jump up the overall standings.

I've planned around bye rounds last 2 years and it got me no where. **** the byes, as long as I can have 18 players on the field, I dont care. They can all be rookies, will still be a better result than the years I actually planned around it and got screwed with omissions and injuries.

Throw caution to the win, you will only screw yourself for one bye anyway, just make sure you dominate the other byes.

RD12 is going to screw over everyone.

Ideally will be looking at an 8/11/11 or 8/10/12 split but might not eventuate. Round 12/13 bye rookies are gold.

I've got a plan that should see me having at least 19 play each bye round. However injuries and rookie selections could kill that plan very quickly.

You only need 18, so your already ahead of most

Totally agree.

My Round 12 team makes me cry.

Yes. That is problematic.

Without trying, I have 21/15/22 (not including T Read for obvious reasons).

Newnes, Brown, CEY, Miller, Lambert all Round 12 rookies I'll hold on to to look at upgrading after Round 11 and 12. Yes, I know Newnes isn't a rookie but he may as well bloody be.

If I can afford Lonie to Lever and Heeny to Rockliff next week, I'm looking a lot better.

Need a big game from Lonie or a quiet one from Rocky.

I reckon Lewis after R11 bye could be a good get. Will be not much over $500k.

If you want Rocky at his lowest, might have to grab him before his R11 bye.

Hoping for a few more quite 80 odd games. Only got to 97 on the weekend because he kicked a late goal in a close last quarter which scaled his points up a fair bit. Reckon he has come back too early though, if the bastard took an extra couple of weeks off he would be perfect exactly at round 12.

Whats more important? Picking him up at his cheapest or picking him up when he is going to benefit you most. I think that after the Bye will be the way go go even if he does start pumping out 120's

Taking my current team and planned trades now and during the byes I'm structuring to field 22/20/22 over the three weeks. However my round 12 team will be full of spuds and I would be down to between 11 and 13 trades left after round 13 (11 is assuming some forced injury trades).

This of course assumes everyone in my team plays. Allowing for injuries and the odd rookie dropped I should at least have no donuts.

Is it your top 18 scoring players during the bye rounds, regardless if you have like 20 spring players? Or am I imagining things?

EDIT: Scoring*. I don't see why it's necessary for Mac to autocorrect.

yep, best 18 scores, even if you have 22 playing

Oh my.. I've been so busy sorting players out for the rd12 bye, i just had a look at rd13 and it's so much worse than rd12...
That's a good problem to have. Trade then to Round 11/12 players after Round 12.

Assuming no more trades (which wont happen....), is this fairly consistent with others?

Week 11 -- 6 backs, 7 mids, 2 rucks, 6 fwds (21 total)
Week 12 -- 4 backs, 5 mids, 1 ruck, 6 fwds (16 total)
Week 13 -- 6 backs, 8 mids, 1 ruck, 3 fwds (18 total)

Top 18 on-field players. So if they're on the bench they don't count.
