Very quiet.. Haven't heard any buzz about st Mary's, reservoir, Epping or Heid West. Interesting to see how strong banyule will be with the crossover. It's all been South Morang who sound like are being very active in the recruiting front

Great first night for Banyule last night - over 50 on track. A few players back and a few new ones, although nothing is ever definite until Feb when registrations open.

Epping in a pretty Healthy position with only 2 Blokes Leaving from what i hear. Numbers have been very good (50+) for the first 3 sessions.

65 to Banyules first night apparently. recruits from Hurstbridge and Lower Plenty.

Top few will be South Morang, Banyule and Epping i think

if that's the case, has the playing list improved enough to match all the hype as favourites? I guess time will tell in 6 months time.

Epping are throwing around some massive coin. Offered 3 division one players from this season more than $1000 a game each. Really trying to buy their way back up

More than 1k per game would put them with the highest paid in Div 1, close to top of the list. That for Div 3 is just plain daft, and certainly excessive. Also, any of the handful of players that command that sort of payment in div 1, would certainly not consider a move to div 3.

If true, Epping are paying far too much for players to fix a problem. Maybe they could have invested 2 seasons ago when they were in Div 1. I'd assume they wouldn't have paid anyone in that 2013 Div 1 Side "more than $1000 a game".

epping are in divvy 3 because their money has dried up, so im not sure how they would afford to pay palers $1000 a game. There is no way they would or could from what i hear.

I think you would be surprised how many players get paid over 1000 a game in div 1 these days , not very uncommon at all

Different leagues they are looking for team that are there abouts in winning a flag

Epping running low on $$$ they are getting blokes to pen to paper and can't even pay them for the full year most of those guys will play 2s for a fees weeks to cut the $$$ down during the year

it has been quite of late but getting so close to Christmas things are winding down but strange how this year there has been little news out of Resa normally this time of year we hear how they are raiding Pascoe vale . so how are watsy and west going with west being so close to the new boys in Banyule
