Why?
Tall developing KPP who has clearly got some smarts. Looks to have developed his game in a big way down back recently, but can swing forward to kick goals. With only Taberner and Apeness (and maybe a swinging Alex Pearce) ahead of him in terms of tall forward options after the Pav goes, I'd like to think that this guy has enough natural talent to break into the side (based on the videos I've seen of him and his draft profile stuff).

Expectations?
Uber has been playing against men in a physically tough competition for Redlands for a while now. That gives me great hope that he'll be able to show the kind of grit and toughness that Lyon likes to see in his KPD's. So, with any luck Lyon will give him an opportunity at some point to fill the void in our tall defensive stocks left by Lukey, then during that game, Uber will swing forward in a masterstroke by the coach, which will see him kick five straight goals, clunking huuuuge pack marks and announcing himself as an absolute ****ing dominator. All pretty gettable IMO.

Others considered?
I considered re-newing my association with Ethan Hughes again here, and am buoyed by some reports that he has grown to KPP height. However, I like new stuff and am a sucker for a cult hero, so went with Uber. Other players I looked at were Darcy Tucker (just so I could rhyming slang his surname every chance I got), Shane Yarran or Morabito (but I've already been his buddy through hard times previously and couldn't possibly go through that again).

So, Uber it is. Nerd me up.

It's interesting to see which players haven't been picked up yet. I'm not surprised that Suban, de Boer, Clarke, Clancee, Dawson and Mayne are still unclaimed - they're well known players who aren't overly favoured on this board. But the fact that Ibbotson, Balic and Crozier are still there is amazing!
