People do realise that all of the AFL Academy players get billeted out to a team for a week to train in an AFL environment the pre season before their draft year yeah? Its fairly random in who goes where. The fact that he was sent to us doesn't imply that we're likely to draft him fyi.
Calves are for heifers. It's the thighs that count. How is his athleticism though? From the footage I have seen he is a tier above his opponents just reads the ball so well. A true footy brain. A 100kg mid sounds game breaking. Look at the lads legs...FFS never seen calves that big on a 18 year old ever not even young wannabe body builders.

How did Keays go ?Pipped at the post - 1 pt.
There's Weitering and Weideman. Jacob Weitering is the Key Defender tipped to go at pick 1 and Samuel Weideman is a tall forward who at this stage is a likely late first/early second round pick. Just thought I'd mention it because people might get confused.Weideman kicked another 5 today out of a team total of 9 in a losing side.
POTENTIAL No.1 draft pick Jacob Weitering is big, fast and highly skilled – he ticks most of Brisbane’s boxes.
Except perhaps the one marked manager.
Player managers present the new-era draft dilemma for clubs from expansion markets with retention problems.
Brisbane’s long-term planning got a bit wobbly last week when it was announced Weitering had signed with Liam Pickering.
You have to back yourself in to retain the talent you draft. Unless he says he doesn't want to leave home then draft him if he's the best.
