The stars are aligning - we would be mad to not draft Schache.

Schache,Dixon,Keays & Hipwood would be a super result.
Our biggest weakness - top draft picks disappearing. Some move to better pastures - some just fade away. So if there is actually a gun who wants to play here, DO IT ! And Dixon - imagine our midfield pumping it to him and the smalls feeding off. Come on - get it together drafting persons.

Yeah I'd rather not get the ******* spoon. Don't be overjoyed because we're being shit on by every team in the league the Brisbane Lions is a proud club I'm extremely disappointed that we're on track for pick 1 this is definitely not 'good stuff'. If we lose to freo I'm gonna throw my ******* tv through the wall.
Throw your internet connection out with it too.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Keays interesting that he already has a wikipedia page, more interesting is the fact his great grandfather played for Fitzroy. An awesome connection most of us probably didnt know existed :)
Just looked up his great grandfather, Fred Keays.

Was at Gallipoli and Pozieres by the time he was 17.

Wow.

http://forever.collingwoodfc.com.au/players/fred-keays/

Fred Keays’ VFL career was brief – just five games with Fitzroy and three with Collingwood – but the fact that he ever played League football at all was a remarkable achievement. Because he had twice been wounded in action during the First World War – and the second of those incidents happened just 18 months before his VFL debut.
Played five games for Fitzroy and three for Collingwood.

This was probably mentioned as well, but a trade for dixon could prevent us from picking up all three or at the very least put our first pick next year into the third round or are my calculations way.

Ps. To assume we keep both adcock and leuenberger

In a shallow draft we may also find people interested in trading up a bunch of picks worth points that they weren't going to use for our second rounder, e.g. pick 20 for picks 26, 44 and 62. They get a better draft pick, we get 300 extra points to make it easier to match bids. It's all water yet to travel under the bridge at this point.

Thats assuming we get fair trade value for him cause dixon will cost us more then a second rounder, kpp and all
Fair trade value for one of our players who wants to depart...I think Brennan was the last time we got that.

On second thoughts the Patfull for Christensen trade was OK.
